Eon saw the knights and started to back away back into the forest. He said, "Um... sorry to tell you this, but those aren't insects... they're trouble... and I mean BIG trouble. Their Azor- ahem, 'squishies', like me, but their wearing armor and riding horses... And I think I'm still wanted..."
Eon cursed the fact that he had told Azor'Chapien to not spread word of his new exarch-lyness.

Armour? Horses? These were all knew to the child god, but he thought he could work it out... the horses were those four legged things that looked kind of like a gazelle, and the armour were those hard clothes. Hm, those hard clothes gave him some ideas... but for now he was more curious about the Azorians than the armour.
Deciding that if Mr Squishy wanted to back away Chroma would with him, the two retreated into the forest a little ways, the village still in view of the gods sight if not the exarchs. "Why do they wear such hard clothes?" The child god asked. "And what do these Azorians do for fun anyway? They may be stuffy and orderly, but they must do something fun, otherwise they'd die from lack of funness!"

The veil broke and Veros looked away from Shurka. "I have other things to attend to. I hope to see you and your people's hiomeland rebuilt."
He vanished in a cloud of darkness, moving on to his next destination. Reappearing just outside the moon, he called out for her. "Mara? I would like to speak to you, if you have the time."

Eon said in response, "Actually, most people don't wear those hard clothes, only the leaders do. The rest of us are stuck with little but rags... a little depressing really. They wear it for war, and a little bit for show, because its shiny. If you wanted to see a normal squishy, you'd have to go into the actual village, but I don't think that's a good idea..."

"Why not? Oh, right, you not getting along with them... oh poo, I really wanted to see some of the inside of the squishy nest," Chroma pouted. Rubbing his chin, he thought for a few moments. "We could fly above it... but I don't think you'd want to risk going splat again. Heh heh, splat. Splat splat- sorry. Hmm, I suppose I could use my power over colour to make us invisamable.. would that work, or can squishies see invisamable people?"

The Azorans who had landed on the mainland worked their way until they finally reached Terena. They briefly camped outside, awaiting permission to enter. --- Eon said, "Ya, that would work. Go ahead, I'm pretty sure my kind can't see invisible people." OOC

"Okay," Chroma replied, starting to gather his power. Before relinquishing it again, he REALLY needed to get out of the habit of blast everything full force... if he did that here, half the forest would be invisible too!
Letting out a small stream of coloured light, the power bathed the two, taking away their colour and storing it to be returned later. The result was... well, nothing. Or the appearance of nothing anyway: where once there was a god and exarch, now there was an invisible god and exarch.
"Yay, I'm invisamable!" the child god couldn't help but boast excitedly. "Now you can show me the squishies!"

Eon said, "Um... sure. Just... well, you might not like what you see... Its basically all work and no play... little sad really."
As they walked into town, the day's work was in full swing. All of the adult peasants looked dangerously thin and they wore little more then rags. Their backs were bent from hard work. Even the old and sick sometime had to work in the fields. Chroma could also spot some children having to work. Eon shook his head and muttered, "Home sweet home..."

Chroma had expected something... different. The metal skinned people had seemed so shiny and fun looking, and the village had seemed so grand from afar compared to what he was used to. But close up... he wasn't sure he like Azor'Chapien as much anymore. Sure he made fun flaming birds, but how could he do this to his children? Or let his other children do this to his children, he supposed. Although the child god confessed he hadn't done much better to deal with the Sons of Slaugher... but at least they hadn't been slaughtering his own children for the most part!
"This is... whoever's in charge better be having a tonne of fun at these peoples expense. Because if treating these people like this IS the fun, then... then... I don't even know what I'm going to do! Even then, no fun is worth this... this... tyranny!" A few heads turned to see where the booming voice had come from, but seeing nothing the peasants returned to their duties.

Eon sighed and said, "Ya... but before you go out and blame Azor'Chapien, it actually isn't his fault... he constantly tries to tell the nobles that their duty is to protect the peasants, not take advantage. But, as Azor'Chapien says, 'Giva a man a bit of power, and he'll get drunk with it' . Atleast, I think he says that... but he really didn't intend this mess."
