Especially those who already have a promise of resurrection. Those silly people with eternal life not wanting more eternal life :P
But even beyond that, you'd really need a guide action to get many people to listen to a crazy voice in their head.

But in a world where the gods are this active, I find it hard to believe that they'd write off simultaneous direct contact with a god as more than a 'crazy voice.'

I was half asleep this morning when I posted. I'm going to edit my post to clarify that I intended most, not all.

Heh, you didn't wait for all the races to respond. Some goblins, gnolls, and kitsune will take up immortality. They still have to face Novirm, unlike Shadow's people.

Gotta love how every civilized race turns down eternal life with a half-hearted 'meh' and a shrug of their shoulders. To be fair the Terra-Kai believe in Ra'Ver-Alec and are fatalists as a result. For them the temptation of immortality is not nearly as strong for the others. This is mainly due to them not having a fear of death.

This is mainly due to them not having a fear of death. To be doubly fair, such information regarding the Terra-Kai is already in the MM. Just replace "Raven Queen" with "Ra'Ver-Alec" and you're good to go.
EDIT: Shadow, I was wondering if Swordwings would be showing up, since last time an orc lost an eye they did. However, I am curious, how did they get to Silenia in any degree of numbers? If I recall, travel to there from any plane has been blocked.

It blocks artifact travel, as well as mortal travel. This is essentially equivalent to Lazarus brining his divine servants, his exarchs. Remember, in Galara, Swordwings are immortals, making them divine servants rather than just simply mortals.

True. Though, I'm not aware that Gadabout has any immortals.
