Using the darkness that swirled around her, Myxiniron started to shape new things into life.
Some looked like vine plants, with long, dark vines and small roots running allong the vines, allowing it to anker into the rocky tunnel systems of the underdark. Others looked thick patches of dark moss or fleshy verns with big lobbed leafes.
Unlike normal plants however, these dark plants got there energy out of darkness (umbrasynthesis), as opposed to sunlight. The darker and colder the place, the better; although some would adapt to survive near subterran magma vents.
These new shadow-plants would spread through the underdark, forming the basis of a new ecosystem.
"There, this should make this place a bit less boring"

"You reanimated the body of a dead worm? I did not know that was possible."
He looked more closely.
"Life...mortal life, that is...is a kind of light. Once the light has gone away, one can still make use of the body by filling it with darkness. Intriguing."
He watched as Myxiniron created the shadow plants. He felt a twinge of annoyance at having them introduced in his home without permission, but he also liked them. With the shadow plants spreading throughout his kingdom, he could make no end of creatures to feed on them and inhabit the underdark.
"My friend," he said to Myxiniron, "I believe you and I can create great things together."

Bored of sitting still Thrael'kriss rose, stepping forward into the massive tunnels of the underdark.
Something is new down here. A darkr image...
In the dark his shape wavered, the wolfish form he was accustomed to ion the surface became a panther's sleek darkness. Much more effective at remaining unnoticed in the depths. He oriented himself on one of the... holes... in his senses.
The worms say their master is near another hole... First I should investigate this one.
Following the twisted passages Thrael'kriss worked his way to the massive construct of the sun god.

Finally. He was close to it. For some time, he had heard some sort of rumbling, and following the sound had paid off. Just through that last passage...
Kraid stopped, taken aback by the sights. Filling most of the space was a great worm, bigger than anything he had seen while watching from the sky.
It was something else that caught his attention, however. A great, impenetrable black blot. Could that be what he had been searching for?
After a few moments, the construct decided to act. Taking a few steps forward, he spoke:
I salute thee, o great ones. I have come from the sky, and by the orders of my master Adahan, the god of Sun, I have a message for thee.
Mountain Cleave Rule: You can have any sort of fun, including broken, silly fun, so long as I get to have that fun too (e. g., if you can warp reality with your spells, I can cleave mountains with my blade).

Thrael'kriss stepped forward, punctuating the constructs words with a purr, or was it a growl? His form diminuitive in comparison to the great Earth God, and small even compared to the Golem's form. It would have been comical if he was not followed by an air of the hunter, and the fact that death rolled off him in waves.
I found them... Hmmm... The dark-ones have nothing I can speak through to them...
Rolling his shoulders Thrael'kriss spoke in a barely articulated series of growls: And who is Adahan precisely?
And why did he create this non-thing?

Turning around, the construct answered, his metallic voice reverberating in the cavern:
He is my creator, the god of Sun and of Inventive, who lives in the sky, on a metal moon that spins around the earth too fast to be seen.
And who might you be? According to my master, animals aren't capable of speech.

Too fast to be seen... Hehe my eyes aren't theirs.
I am Thrael'kriss, Lord of Beasts, and of the Hunt. What are you un-thing? Why are you? And who are you dark-thing?
Hello brother-of-earth. Your tunnels are a fitting maze for my future children.
(Green is to those I can converse through creatures with.)

I am Kraid, the first construct. I was created by my Master so that he would have someone with whom he could share his discoveries and who would help him with his duties. I came here seeking the Darkness, for my Master wishes to communicate with it. However, he can't do it in person, as the light he radiates puts the darkness on the run.
Are you the one responsible for the great shark creatures that populate the ocean, the worms who make their home below, and the massive crabs that live in the vents?

I am their master, though only the shark things are my creations. Though my sharks are more than capable of hunting in the earth.
Construct...
How can you exist without life? I have seen the moon your creator calls home, it pulls upon the oceans. Are you a part of it? An extension of it? You have no breath, no blood... How can you be without life?

The construct nodded.
Yes, I originated from the moon. My master's touch seems to affect inanimate materials in strange ways. The moon was originally made of stone, but when he tore it out of the earth, it changed to a metal called Mythril. It was from that metal I was made, but once again, it changed as my master manipulated it. Then, he infused me with his light, which gave me life.
You said only the great sharks were your creation. Who made the other creatures?
