I know this is a very old topic, however, in our group, we currently deal with primordials and I am trying to understand them better, since it's the first time I actually heard about them.

What happened is that the primordials are coming back, taking over the common population and that once you are "affected" you just do not have a chance. You sort of become a "zombie" and you are controlled by the primordial catalyst. If you die, they eat your soul, if you are affected, you are a willingless zombie, serving them. So there is technically no way out.

So is there anymore information on primordials, if so, where can I find it? I understand this is more of an open source, rather than official material by WOC? (correct me if I'm wrong)

Your primordial infection is definitely homebrew, so I don't know if the official material will help you.

However, there is a lot of information about the primodials:  the Lords of Chaos articles (originally in Dragon and then moved to Dungeon I think), the Plane Below book, the Manual of the Planes, Heros of the Elemental Chaos and the MM1, MM2 and MM3 all have information about the Primordials.

Yeah, I figured it was homebrew. Thank you so much for the information.
