My cousin shared this story to me, it's one of his long lost game, back in AD&D, 2nd edition!
DM : You are in a forest until you see a clearing with a Gazebo in the middle. PC1 : I shoot an arrow at the Gazebo! *Grabs dice* DM : Don't roll, you hit it! PC1 : What does it do? DM : Nothing... PC1 : I shoot another arrow... DM : You hit it! ( Seeing the PC1 attacking, PC2 enters "the battle" ) PC2 : I charge the Gazebo with my axe! DM : OK...It is destroyed! Do you know what a gazebo is? PC1 and PC2 : No...
Yeah your cousin lied to you.

Well, "thank you". I just now wonder where he read it because it was way back before Internet.

Before internet became practically commonplace, perhaps. But there were bulletin-board programs, and networks of bulletin-boards, and stories got passed around.
It's a good story and deserves to be resurrected from time to time.
"The world does not work the way you have been taught it does. We are not real as such; we exist within The Story. Unfortunately for you, you have inherited a condition from your mother known as Primary Protagonist Syndrome, which means The Story is interested in you. It will find you, and if you are not ready for the narrative strands it will throw at you..." - from Footloose

Notice how he lets them attack it, then asks if they know what a gazebo is. If anything, he was nicer than the original GM.
Quick line, out of context:
"Ah, swords. Nature's knives."

Also to note that the original story was published in several magazines well before the internet was common.

How are you guys finding this sort of 'niche within a niche' information(websites)?! (I mainly ask this because I wasn't even aware the story had a wiki page on it, or even a webpage telling perhaps the whole story behind the incident)

Once one of our players had to work late, so he gave his character sheet( Changeling Dragon Sorceror) to his friend the Barbarian's player and asked him to play both characters. Apparently he got very bored at work, as he randomly sent a text reading "Action Point and 'Prime the Fire'!!". Told that we were in an RP segment, not in combat, he replied "I don't care, do it anyway!", and re-sent the request three or four times---eventually we finally got to a point where we were in a survival/escape scenario against an ever-increasing horde of zombie minions, not the ideal time to use a daily like that but the guy went ahead and did it to humor his buddy, which actually wasn't totally useless at least, took out a big number of them and made a hole to run through. Now, however, nearly two years later, every time a player hesitates on choosing their next action, or at tense moments in negotiation scenes, somebody, frequently the whole party in unison, yells "Action Point and Prime the Fire!!!"
