Does the limb / eye / etc. literally have to be just useless material? It has to be inanimate matter. That matter can be enchanted, but it cannot be self-willed or otherwise living flesh (such as an ooze's pseudopod). It also has to replace the body part. So someone whose right hand has been turned to iron would not count.
Do the Gleemax forums have a limit on characters for individual posts? 50,000 characters.
can the urban menace 'lead' an organization? By this I mean, optional criteria #6 is "Menace is a Solo Monster". Do I fulfill this if the urban menace is a group *lead* by such a solo monster? If the organization is menacing the community then no. If the menace is secretly the chief cleric of the church of Pelor (which is not menacing the community), then yes.

One last question; I am writing up specific NPCs with character classes. Do I need to manually type up each class power? Or does this fall under the 'content stated in official 4th edition material'? i.e. do I have to write out the full entry for a fighter's Cleave ability? (does w + str damage and then +str damage to one adjacent target, etc) Or can I just say Cleave (Fighter 1)?
If you look past the plot and the voice acting, Metroid: Other M was an okay game. Not a great game, but an adequate one.
Not using the Metroid item collect jingle though? That, was a mistake.

one thing to consider: it makes your entry harder to read or use, though. a DM should be able to use these entries without much work - stating monsters is easy, like use A,B,C from MM pages x,y,z.
If you do the same with three NPCs it looks like this: use NPC A with the following stats and abilities a,b,c from phb pages x,y,z, and NPC B with the following stats and abilities d,e,f from phb pages u,v,w, and NPC C the following stats and abilities g,h,i from phb pages r,s,t.

I was wondering, does a solo class swarm creature qualifies for optional element 6?

I was wondering, does a solo class swarm creature qualifies for optional element 6? type is irrelevant as long as it is a solo.

One last question; I am writing up specific NPCs with character classes. Do I need to manually type up each class power? Good question. No. If the power iself is unchanged from how it is published, eferencing the class and level (and sourcebook) should be fine.
For example, if you were using a Warlock power from the recent Dragon article, you should make clear which edition of Dragon it is from, so the judgs don't scour the PHB looking for it.

IV. The community (or the targeted portions) must be aware of the existence, and afraid, of a threat posed by the menace.
I have a question (last one, I hope) about this statement. If the menace contributes multiple threats, , does the community have to be aware of each threat or only at least one?
for example: The menace is a thieves guild. It steals stuff.
The thieves guild is also planning to steal the ring that grants the beloved king immortality.
In the case above, the community would be aware that the menace exists and causes some threat, but unaware of what exactly the menace is (the head thief) or their ultimate goal (stealing the ring).
If you look past the plot and the voice acting, Metroid: Other M was an okay game. Not a great game, but an adequate one.
Not using the Metroid item collect jingle though? That, was a mistake.

mcccowen: Don't worry about having it judged by "actual judges". We are only judges because we've won a few of these ourselves according to other judges that were picked the same way.
We're just players like you that happened on these contests earlier than you did and won a few. Nothing special. Except Wrecan, who's kept things going through thick and thin. You should be scared of him. I think he bites! :P
