I don't know if anyone mentioned this but when the bullets run low you might want to check out crossbows from the sporting goods store? Could row after row of Pungi stakes slow down zombies? Suppose you lowered a noose off the side of the building and used a counterweight to lift the zombies to where people with grappling hooks could reach them? Perhaps lift them to the edge of the roof then cave in their skulls with a sledge hammer.

Use a massive counterweight in an elevator shaft,
run thru block&tackle pullys,
as the flight deck cat
to launch your DoomGliders (CAS meets Sailplane)
100-200' above the roof.

Knock out the walls of a lower floor to make a trap deck,
for tailhook capture with net arrest redundancy

Even without soaring on thermals
you still can launch local sorties with simple altitude drop glides

A ZOMBIE BY ANY OTHER NAME WOULD STILL SMELL AS SWEET.....the problem I used to run into when I was trying to recreate "Return Of The Living Dead" was that I kept trying to upgrade zombies, I really got stuck on the Zombies=Zombies concept. I later found that instead of scaling up zombies I should actually be downscaling the Ghouls. A low Hd version of a ghoul without paralysis worked quite nicely.

when Ghouls do have Paralysis,
what actual part of the ghould generates the effect?

Cause I'm thinking we chainsaw up some ghouls,
load that part up in a CO2 potato/tenisball cannon,
and shoot folks with a C02 Paralysis gun

a real threat is not so much the zombie Zombies,
but the zombie Falcons, zombie Bears, and the worst of the worst... zombie FireAnts

Character and world creation are a form of expression. The point is that some people don't have much to say...

D20 is a cinematic game, you think they would have done a better job on the Zombies and Ghouls. They ended up having a video game feel rather than a horror movie feel? I still have a fondness for Zombie Bulls dating back to Final Fantasy,What's a china shop without a Zombie Bull? I still wonder if The Tower should stand against one type of the Living Dead or many?

HOW MANY ZOMBIES IN A ZOMBIE TIDAL WAVE?  The mongols once took a fortified city by running up and throwing saddles against the walls till they had a ramp. Suppose you had a city of 10 million zombies and 200,000 at a time showed up at the Tower? Would they build up at the base of the tower, climbing over each other like insects? When the pile got big enough would glass windows break from weight of zombies? If several hundred thousand zombies showed up they could make a ramp as high as the 3rd or 4th floor

sound like a sweet raw materials delivery plan for my Zombie-Deisle project.
Convert organic creatures to biofuel, and use the fuel to kill organic creatures, that you can make more fuel out of.  The drawback was getting a large enough supply of zombies, but 200000 could let us go big scale with the project

Without anyone keeping the traffic lights running,
the traffic of 200k zombies trying to get to one place would be a nightmare.
And how did they all decide to attack the same buildinbg at the same time... was there a broadcast on ZNN telling them when & where?

How did a record number of dead people decide who to vote for in our last presidential election? The living dead have something called "lifesense" that allows them to drift in the direction of the living? A zombie hears or sees people moving around the Tower and other zombies follow, like vultures following each other when one spots a body? A god of the undead somehow directs them? It always happens that way in the movies so......
