Good question. I guess it's not particularly clear. I just decided, yes. Any class (prestige included) that has the ability to use chi and has a chi level (i.e. Super Saiyan, Namekian Guardian) counts as a chi-user and therefore has the possibility to increase your chi-user level. Powers known, however, do not increase, as they are dictated by the class that uses them, not the overall chi-user level of the character.

DBZ and d20 are not that faroff from eachother actually, it's not difficult to immagine.

DBZ logic is there's always a bigger fish. And really isn't this the logic of the d20 system? (Less you change massive damage rule...)


Pre-Z, they could get shot with bullets and be relatively unscatched. Maybe a few cuts and bruises.

This hints to an increddibly high AC and damage reduction score more then hitpoint amount.


Fireball looks like a basic ki attack. But then that's another problem with the Z-fighters, they're cannon oriented. They aren't use to enemies that use telepthay, telekinesis, polymorph, magic would be the Z-Senshie's biggest weakness..


And unless you plan to change massive damage rule, I wouldn't even bother using weapons. Considering they'll rarely make contact, and they'll just brushoff the damage dealt..

Sometimes, I really don't see why people just don't read the system instead of already voicing there pre-recorded opinions on the whole ordeal.
Nominrath has states tons of times, that you are not following in the footsteps of the Z-Fighters from the original manga or anime.
Bullets in Dragonball were used for humor, I consider nothing from that anime totally serious honestly... Kamehameha erupting from Goku's feet?...

He just adapted it in his own way without over-powering the system, while making his own techniques, you can take that fireball spell stuff outta here. They aren't freaking wizards.
