if you want to use Melee Attacks.... fight with a Reach Weapon(ANY), do the same thing, except you need to fly in to 10' then fly out to a new spot.... they cant see where the attacks are comming from so cant see where to make an AoO, and since you are Invisible... they are Flatfooted... thus:
A flat-footed character can’t make attacks of opportunity. Unless they have Combat Reflexes. Which is the main reason I'd take it, not actually forthe extra AoOs (unless I'm playing an AoO build, like Robilar's). The big thing that stops the Pixie from getting AoOed is that you can't make an AoO on someone with Total Concealment - so unless the enemy has a See Invisibility up, or Blindsight, they can't execute an AoO on you as they cant target you - only your square.

true .... but they must find the right Square in 3-Dimensions as well, if they cant detect you as you said
in a horizontal grid, there are only so many places an attack can come from.... add even more when using a Reach Weapon.... multiply by how high you can fly for 3-Dimensional locations
:D

I had a nice post and a detailed build, but the internet ate it. Here's the rapidly reproduced version. While not as powerful as a Grig fiddler, this would also be fun to play. Core Rogue/Wizard Pixie
Show
Race: Pixie
Levels: Pixie4/Rogue1/Wizard3/Rogue2/Wizard2/ArcaneTrickster8
Abilities: con >> dex > int > str > wis > cha (As a front-liner con is imperative, and racial modifiers provide an excellent dex and int)
Skills: More than you'll know what to do with :P
Feats: Two-weapon fighting tree plus others. For instance: (ECL) / (Feat) 4 - Two-weapon fighting 7 - Improved initiative 10 - Weapon focus (Shortsword) 13 - Combat reflexes 16 - Improved two-weapon fighting 19 - Greater two-weapon fighting (Qualify by casting Tenser's Transformation )
Tactics: ECL4-6:You are a skill monkey, and can hit easily with your two shortswords, which should have flaming, frost or shock enchanted on them. Use spellcasting intelligently - magic missile won't do a thing. ECL7-17:Get a Strand of Prayer Beads & an Orange Ioun Stone as soon as possible, to boost your caster level for Scorching Ray (Your primary source of damage) to 11, giving you 3 rays that deal 4d6+sneak and hit 95% of the time. Use shortswords against fire immunes, and prepare spells to handle critical hit immunes. Economy of spellcasting is essential. ECL18-20:You now have the option of boosting your damage output by casting Tenser's Transformation and entering melee. Don't forget that Scorching Ray is still an option, and use effective buff spells (Greater magic weapon on +1 flaming frost shock spellstoring wounding cold iron shortswords). Prepare spells to handle creatures immune to your sneak attack.
D&D 4e Party Roles For Dummies:
Striker - Smack the enemy Defender - Get smacked by the enemy Leader - Make it impossible for your party to lose Controller - Make it impossible for the enemy to win

This is pretty cool - I never even noticed the bit about replacing their first HD with a class level. Keep the builds/info comin'! :D

Would darkstalker be worth taking?
And a level of mindbender?
Then you never have to talk, no one can see you, and anyone with special senses has to roll to notice you.

Are you sure Pixies get Weapon Finesse as a bonus feat? I was under the impression it was the first level feat in the build, and I only see Dodge listed in the Pixies as characters section in the MM. I'd be very happy if I'm wrong.

For feats, assuming your DM allows adding races to regions, Magic in the Blood is hard to beat for a pixie. Turning all of your 1/day spell-like abilities into 3/day is very useful.
