Obviously, a high Cha, Extra Turning feats, and Nightsticks will allow you to pretty much have as many turning attempts as you'll ever need.
But with only 2 feats to burn for Extra Turning, and only 1 Nightstick allowed, assuming 18 Cha, you only have 19 turn attempts. I think it should be much higher. Note that I'm specifically talking Turn Undead attempts, as Planar/Elemental/etc turning doesn't power DMM.
Eye of Horus Re in the PGtF specifically states that a cleric gets an additional 3+cha turning attempts. Any other classes, especially evil/neutral aligned ones that do this?

A dip into Dread Necromancer gives Rebuke Undead. If you can already Turn Undead (as a nuetral cleric) this doubles your turn attempts for powering Divine Metamagic and the like. Also, a Reliquary Holy symbol should give an extra 2-3 attempts, and remember that you can extend persisted spells, effectively doubling your number of persisted spells (since they'll now last 48 hours).
That really should be enough to get the job done.

Good idea with the dread necro. That nets another 3+Cha.
But I'd really like about 70 or so turn attempts for an epic True Necromancer. With a charisma of, say 34, he would have 3+12 (Turning) + 3+12 (Rebuke, Dread Necro)+ 8 (Extra Turning) + 4 (Nightstick) = 42.
I'd like to show another player how to do it without using Nightsticks, preferably. The player in question is using 5.
Also, is there anything stopping a True Necromancer from using DMM with arcane spells? The wording of the feat doesn't explicitly say "divine" spells.

isnt there a holy sumbol or something in MIC that gives turn attempts too
also at epic level you should be able to take epic spellcasting and use the enhance seed to add a +20 or higher bonus to charisma

^^ Reliquary Holy Symbol. MIC p120. It can give you up to 3 turn attempts. (this will likely be 2. Improved Turning uses a feat slot that could otherwise be Extra Turning)
Good idea with the dread necro. That nets another 3+Cha.
But I'd really like about 70 or so turn attempts for an epic True Necromancer. With a charisma of, say 34, he would have 3+12 (Turning) + 3+12 (Rebuke, Dread Necro)+ 8 (Extra Turning) + (8 Rebuke, Extra Turning) + 4 (Nightstick) = 50.
I'd like to show another player how to do it without using Nightsticks, preferably. The player in question is using 5. Here's the relevant SRD text. The rules text definitely applies to additional turning types (like if you can turn cold creatures via a domain). I'm pretty confident that "If you have the ability to turn or rebuke more than one kind of creature each of your turning or rebuking abilities gains four additional uses per day" means that if you can both turn and rebuke you get 4 more of both.
Interpreted differently I guess it could also mean the "If you have the ability to turn or rebuke more than one kind of creature" bit would require you gain the ability to turn/rebuke a non-undead creature type before Extra Turning would apply to your Rebuke Undead attempts. (This would be silly (Hi CO)).
Also, is there anything stopping a True Necromancer from using DMM with arcane spells? The wording of the feat doesn't explicitly say "divine" spells. The wording of the feat does explicitly say divine spells. (Check the Complete Divine errata)

Nice call.
Ok, we're up to 50, without using an epic spell to give +20 charisma. I'd like to avoid that.
50 is pretty damn good. That's 7 persisted spells.
I think we can do better.
So if it does explicitly say divine spells - How can I get disjunction as a divine spell? My evil plan involves this.

Magic Domain. It's even SRD.Also the Spell domain, which has Anyspell/Greater Anyspell, and a nice domain power.

A one level dip into Master of Shrouds gives extra rebuking so 4 more but you lose a caster level.

Just noticed that Ur-Priest gives Rebuke Undead at 2nd level.
Kir-Lanan (Gargoyles of Faerûn) have Rebuke Undead 3/day as a racial ability (not really a caster race, though... especiall cleric-based!).
There's bound to be other races/classes in Libris Mortis.
