GROUND RULES 1/. Only bring up Forgotten Realms issues here. Issues involving other settings don't belong on these forums. They just add to the confusion in what is already a very popular series of threads that get very long very fast. 2/. Stay on topic. This type of thread has proved to be incredibly useful to a large number of members. However previous threads were long enough as it is, and pretty daunting to a newcomer. Posting off topic makes this worse. There is no point having a thread solely devoted to asking a specific people questions if it gets sidetracked. Feel free to disagree with Richard or any other poster but remember “It is ok to attack the ideas written by a poster. It is not ok to attack the person writing the ideas. In fact with all the insults that have been flung at them over the years it is a miracle any of the authors still frequent these boards. Don't get angry if your question isn't answered. Can one of your characters perhaps collaborate with another authors characters? They are in the same world all fighting for justice, why not have team up or something? Or even so with villans? Would be nice if they could at least of a page of them passing by even if they don't really interact.

My first question for Rich, I think.
In October you said you had to keep a lid on the status of the Chosen for a few more months. Bearing this in mind, is there any chance you could:
a) Give us a list of who is at least alive at the time the setting (and novels) pick up again?
or
b) Give us an ironclad reassurance that we will know the status of them all in 9 days when the FRCS comes out?
10 months of waiting has just about murderised my nerves.
[sblock]I always saw the High Level NPCs as shepherds of the Realms not its defenders. Making sure that not too many sheep were lost as they milled around (as they are wont to do) and bringing on the young'uns into the job. In that way a shepherd never has time to go and hunt down all of the wolves but is pretty dashed effective at keeping them away from the sheep when they rear their heads.[/sblock]

Now that we are just around the corner from release, any word on the Fey'ri and if they are still around? I know a PC writeup is not happening right now, but I hope we at least get a Monster write up. Maybe some day Rich could give them a Dragon or DDI writeup like they did for the Warforged since he did such a great job with them (IMHO) in the Last Mythal series.

RICH:
From a Westgate point of view, would the rampant expansionism of Cormyr be viewed as threatening? I see Cormyr as thinking they're benevolant (helping their neighbors) but those like Westgate feeling a bit more like they could be next in line for Cormyrs' "help".
