Well we're back. The first campaign setting has survived every edition and sub-version (pun intended) of D&D and AD&D, and will continue to last because of the strongly loyal Greyhawk community. Much of the discussion (and most of the grognards) has passed long ago to the other Greyhawk discussion groups, however the WotC Greyhawk board has long been, and will continue to be (hopefully for a VERY long time) the place where new fans of the campaign setting can be introduced to it, have their questions answered, and join in the discussion with the old-timers. A place where ideas can be traded and critiqued, and new ideas formulated. A place where Greyhawk can come alive for a new generation. I personally am quite pleased that the powers-that-be decided to resurrect the Campaign-setting-dedicated forums. Denis, aka "Maldin"... Whoopiee! Won't be long before Mordenkainen and Iuz get their 4e stats in Dragon - we've already had a few rituals. In fact, it would be a nice tribute to Gygax's contribution to see Mordy 4e. At least, I don't think it should offend anybody...

Awesome - welcome back all. I have been lurking on the Other Worlds, looking for greyhawk things. So how do we get the most active threads from that moved back over here? They are still stuck there.

ROB We've got to ask for them to be moved. Take a look at this post for more information about that process.

Much of the discussion (and most of the grognards) has passed long ago to the other Greyhawk discussion groups ... I know that there are very knowledgeable and passionate people who used to post here that I don't see here anymore, and that's unfortunate, but it's understandable. Maybe now that we've got our own forum again, some of those people will drop by again from time to time.

Awesome!! I never played in the setting during its hey day but I have every Greyhawk supplement out there. I can't wait for the 4E version, it gets my vote for 2010 (although that is only because I realise BR doesn't have a chance ).

Hey! Glad to see we got our own board back.
I've been away for a while, can anyone bring me up to speed on any GH vittles for 4e I should look out for?

Good deal. I'm sure the shakeup in Wizards' lower echelon had something to do with the re-re-organization.
