After pouring through books, I have come to the conclusion that the character I have in mind is not playable under the current D&D ruleset. So much for that one.

No, of course not. I'll just build him in a more flexible, better balanced ruleset. Mutants & Masterminds 2e.

Whoa, this thread is still here. Which is very good, I was looking through my saved character files as a trip through memory lane and could not find anything for my stormlord, who I know I had written a bunch of stuff for. Luckily this thread never got pruned, and I was able to grab the stuff I wanted from it.
