Heh, I figured he was asking about whether or not it will support solo play.

Well I did some search on the term "play hotseat" and results does appear to be play by post the way the top hits indicate. One person at the keyboard at a time. Single player clearly can not be done, no AI or setting to adventure in. Perhaps the OP was seeking solo play by playing character vs. character. That is post action from one character, then post action by other character. If this is the case Game table does not adjudicate rules and the player would have to apply results just like a DM does. Game table does not appeared to be designed for this at all and whole announced purpose is to bring groups together.
Oh it clearly appears some "play hotseat" is indeed play by mail, which of course Game Table clearly will not do and again not something of planed design.
Plans are always subject to change.

Am I the only one who believes that maybe a flash version of this should have been made, instead of a 3D one? Would be easier to develope, I'm sure, and would work on any OS that could run flash. One like the d&d tutorial flash they had for 3.5... make a full version of THAT puppy and I'll pay.
Probably wouldnt tax people's PC resources either.

Probably wouldnt tax people's PC resources either. It also wouldn't (I suspect - IANAProgrammer) have been as robust as the system they're walking on now. I can't think of any flash applications that I've seen that would be capable of handling the kind of depth I've seen in the Game Table demo at GenCon (and that was an alpha build).
