I was reading this post and saw some issues with the item filtering; I have a slight problem based on this issue and was wondering if it is a current bug, or there's something I can do to fix it:
Using I.E., the item filtering is working smashingly. However, when I try to use Firefox, none of the 'category' items filters are working. That is to say, the drop down box for 'category' under the major heading 'items' does not work. It works for feats, classes, powers, etc, just not for the items.
I hope I expressed that clearly. If anyone has information, I'd greatly appreciate it; thank you.
Zhandra, I ran into the same issue with Item filtering last night on Mac OS X with both Safari and Chrome. I submitted a bug report through the feedback system (Ref #111005-000146) and hopefully we'll have a resolution soon.
It's not just Category, by the way; I also can't filter by Level or Enhancement. Bizarrely, filtering on Source works, I've learned since submitting the problem report.

That's very strange; I haven't tried enhancement, but source and level have worked well for me. I also submitted the report a few days back, but didn't see it on the 'known issues' page. Thanks for the verification =)

i tried to filter items by category and level, but it didn't work in chrome or on my Android Tablet. The filter works in IE though. *sigh*

New issues:
- Karruuk's Circlet - Server error.
- Lenses of the Luminary - Server error.
Reported earlier but still not fixed:
- Lingerer Fell Incanter - Size is missing from the keywords.
- Fleshglutton Favored One - Size is missing from the keywords.
- Emerald Claw Scout - Size is missing from the keywords.
- Blistered Soul - No keywords.
- Imprison - This power has the wrong color, it uses the atwillpower css rule instead of dailypower.

Still not working in Chrome - is there a fix in the works? I'm not about to start using IE...
My specific issue is the categories dropdown always defaults to 'creatures', meaning I can't look up anything else. Makes the Compendium mostly useless.

What happened to the updated Adult Blue Dragon? For whatever mysterious reason this monster appears to have missed getting updated to Monster Vault stats and new formatting. You guys got the Young and Elder versions, but the Adult got missed.

The artificer powers added to the compendium today (from Dragon 403) do not match the current version of the article (but instead the one that came out for one day or so then got updated). Specifically, Ice Shard Traps and Coiled Spring Traps are not free actions, Sigil of Admixture is not in the article but is in the compendium, Smokepowder Blast had its name changed to Smokepowder Detonation in the article, Siphon Fate got changed to affect defenses instead of saving throws, and the Hammer of Gond feat should be an implement for everyone (compendium still just says "for your artificer powers").

Sorry if this has already been brought up, but I thought it worthy of additional mention if it has... I believe that the addition of more filters to the DDI Compendium would be useful due to the seemingly lack of working interior filters. If you are to type in elf in a search for specific feats, I personally do not find it necessary for every single half-elf feat to show up on the list as well. For this example, 74 feats will be listed and although I like hunting through feats, that is a bit ridiculous.
Another example would be searching for class specific feats and when you are playing a Dwarven cleric, receiving a list of feats for gnomes, eladrin, and humans.
