Please check out this announcement here about the Gleemax. This is great news for D&Di, as the added focus will help us to better achieve all the things we want to accomplish. Please let us know your thoughts and questions. -Mike

Is this going to affect the forums that are under the heading of Gleemax, or just the blog site?
Also what of the Gleemax games that were in their testing phase?

Also what of the Gleemax games that were in their testing phase? We'll probably reorg the Gleemax branded forums, but it shouldn't have much of an effect on anything else, especially the D&D forums.
All of the focus is on Magic Online and D&Di, so the Gleemax games will be taking an indefinite back seat to our core products.

snickerlaughsnort...
I almost wish I could say 'Wow, didn't see that comin.', but that would be a lie.
I'm really struggling to see how yet another wizards digital failure bodes well for the DDI, but you enjoy your rose-colored glasses.
I suppose it's too much to ask to get the old wizards.com name back? :D

Fans don't mean irrealist or uncritical.
At least, he seemed to be honest on failure. *shrugs*

Well good, as much as Gleemax was touted to be, there really isn't enough to it to justify it when DDI is so far behind. This is a good decision.

Wow, this isn't even a big suprise. Did anyone, aside from the designers, actually use Gleemax (alpha)? This is a real question. So after a year and an half the big giant green brain in a jar comes down. I just remember when it came out and people complainning about the color of the brain (how it made them sick) or that the word gleemax and the brain in a jar was to infantil for most players... Guess they were right. Funny thing is that gleemax was supposed to change the boards, improve them actually, make gaming more accessable, everybody would have been able to exchange info on there games or PCs, etc, etc. So, what will happen with the DDI in a year?
