The new Warforge Resolve includes "You may make an immediate saving throw against one effect..." but the Immutability warforged feat gives you the same thing. Are you supposed to get two saves? Was Immutability written before the changes to Warforge Resolve?

The base ability gives you a free save against an effect that causes ongoing damage. The feat gives you an additional save, against an effect that causes ongoing damage or a condition - which is a pretty solid upgrade!

I spent a few minutes trying to puzzle it out too.

I like the Warforged info because I love them in Eberron. Thanks!

I do have one question though: In the sample Warforged Paladin file: Where is is equipment? He has a battle axe obviously but where does that AC 20 come from? I could not find any other gear on his sheet.

Plate mail armor (+8 AC), Heavy shield (+2 AC). Same as the paladin in KotS I believe.

My point was more that they did not include it, and of all the things to cut for space, equipment isn't it. No one should have to guess what gear a premade character has. You should either get a note saying "buy xyz gold worth of gear," "you start naked," or you start with the following: insert list." Its not like he was written up as an NPC. He was written up as a playable character.

That's definitely a cool article. I don't like the warforged tactics feat much (it doesn't seem to have anything to do with warfogedness. Did I miss something about them being able to work well with allies?), but everything else is very cool indeed.

Warforged are one of my favorite races, and this article definitely bestowed 4e cool upon them. Yeah!
