I feel ya Forgarn.
My SoW foray has ended.
Analysis: I'll do this by module: Casualties, people who didn't last until the final game 1 player made a bard(before the phb2) never played a session, he went back to a 3e Dragonlance game the very next week 1 player made 2 characters, a wizard who died from player glory hounding then made a cleric, I booted him from the game when he missed 2 sessions to play in a 3.5 Marcastle(?) game. 1 player just showed up and wanted to play, made a rogue lasted one session another 3e casualty 1 player could only play biweekly, was a warlock, quit the game when another player was flipping out when the party tried to buy him a magic item(he had none) the flipper-outer had 3
The rest are the players who did make it until I stopped the game and all of their characters they played (c) character alive just switched Player R paladin, swordmage, warden Player D rogue, fighter, swordmage, invoker(c), avenger, barbarian Player L ranger(c), wizard, druid Player K warlord, warlord, warlord, paladin Player C ranger(c), bard Player N warlord(c), sorcerer
Total death toll for the game which (btw) is only the first 2 modules, started on the third Level 5 is where I ended it
paladin, wizard, rogue, fighter, warlord, warlord, warlord, swordmage, swordmage, avenger, wizard, rogue.

paladin, wizard, rogue, fighter, warlord, warlord, warlord, swordmage, swordmage, avenger, wizard, rogue. You lost twelve characters in two modules? Wow. My group's lost two, and one was somewhat voluntary.

Fun thread.
My group is as follows:
Kelvin, a Human Fighter of the Sturm Brightblade type persuasion, having taken up his father's ancient sword and armor and calls himself a knight.
Mikal, a Human Wizard, Kelvin's long lost brother who is good at heart, but tends to the necromantic side of things. Mikal's orb is a floating skull and his familiar is a rotting dog lovingly named Drippy. He tends to get the group in trouble, a lot.
Orsik, a Dwarven Ranger with a bear-companion named Haluar. Orsik was formerly a drunk who was unable to help his family when his town was overrun by orcs, so now he's on a vengeance quest. Needless to say, Bordrin's Watch was a lot of fun for him.
Garlond, a Dwarven Cleric of Moradin. Quiet, friendly, devout, with a love of ale that rivals his love of Moradin, Garlond is always looking for the next Pub.
Overall it's a fun group, as the group is purely Human and Dwarf I had them find an ancient battle standard in the Monastary of the Sundered Chain that harkened back to an ancient alliance of dwarf and man, so they have taken that up as their own standard. Currently about to cross the rift into the Shadowfell in the SRoU.

Hey, gang! I'm about to get my SoW game started. Here's my crew:
(Names Subject To Change) Nyx: Gnome Shaman (Female, played by my sister) Kairon: Tiefling Rogue (Played by my brother) Tirithon Taur'ohtar: Elf Ranger (Played by a guy from my old group) Brandis: Human Warden (NPC) Berial: Deva Invoker (NPC)
I plan on using a sort of 'Hall of Justice' approach. The first adventure will get the inital crew together, and any new PCs I pick up will be in Overlook, answering to the summons for Bordryn's Watch. I think I will be doing a Wiki, to keep this all straight.

Just finished Umbraforge and made it to level 6 with no party fatalities so far, however scaling sarsha's tower was close. Cast: Machine (pronounced - MaShawn) - our Warforged Inspiring Warlord. And yeah, he says things like: "Thar cun be only one." Cluj - The halfling Artful Dodger. Who responds to almost any skill challenge with, "You want I do back flip?" No matter what the challenge. Armon - An Eladrin Shielding Swordmage, who is constantly defending his honor, "I am not an Elf!" Vin - Tiefling Infernal Warlock, has yet to discover you can retrain your 3rd level encounter power as many times as you want. It's not the power's fault you always roll a 2 when you use it. Bern - Goliath Earthblood Warden. Recently joined us when we entered the shadowfell. So far a great addition! So far they aren't experiencing any problems missing a controller as everyone seems to have a power in their arsenal when they need it.

Nyxa: Gnome Shaman Darrenox: Tielfling Rogue Tirithon Taur'ohtar: Elf Ranger Eras: Human Swordmage Berial: Deva Invoker (DMPC)
More players are becoming interested, so, even Berial may be taking a leave of absence, but the game is going well. We haven't even entered Rivenroar yet, and the bar is set pretty high. We already have unforgettable stories.
