Dude, I read it, and it was GLORIOUS! Seriously, you have redefined what a Cha-based warlock should feel like to me :OMG!. Well done, sir. Thank you, thank you.
Anyone who liked the story can feel free to distribute it to any D&D player they know so Valeran's exploits (er, spells ) can reach the widest audience possible. Hint, hint.

It's kind of a throwback to class Witches and Warlocks (Warlock means oath-breaker). I'm really liking the suggestions and discussions here, and have nothing really to add, except to congradulate the above on actually knowing the proper meaning of Warlock - it may just be my location (North West coast of North America) but you are one of TWO people I have ever heard use that properly. Ya...Just thought I'd chime in. :D

Read the story. If Valeran doesn't have a rather... flexible... sense of keeping his oaths (he is double-crossing practically everyone, after all), I don't know who does...

I know this thread is *ancient* by every standard, but i just reread it, and i have rarely had so much fun; i hope others might enjoy reading or rereading it again.
