so just to clarify. vals story will be compiled in the near future right? I plan on having him as a god in all future campaigns he truly is a magnificent bastard
EDIT: a pdf would be a good idea as id want to save it and a copy/paste from a forum doesn't take colours with it, they added alot to the quality of the posts I'm compiling it right now between other projects (and yes, it's to a pdf), but I've been a bit busy, with a new summer job and some other stuff. Fear not; it will soon be available for download...and if I'm feeling nice I might add a little prequel of some sort, but no guarantee on that.

right on glad to hear it. ill be sure to contribute to the warlord fluff thread if/when it takes off. unfortunatly i was too late to help with this one however i wouldnt have done anything different anyway, it perfectly captured my own vision of an epic warlock and put it into intelligable words (something i was having trouble with) and gave my campaigns a kickass god Thank you very much
Eldritch_Lord (hereafter "EL") will keep supplying Win and Awesome to this thread, and will let Magon (hereafter "M") call upon EL once a day (where a "day" is defined to be a 24-hour period beginning and ending at 00:01 GMT) to supply Win and Awesome to other threads. Failure of EL to answer M's request within that day would annul the agreement and EL would have to repay M what M has already paid (here defined as anything M gives EL as a result of this pact. for details, see the last part of the pact). In return, M will, in a very discreet and circumspect way, attempt to attain the Scepter mentioned in the above dragon-and-warlock story for EL and will try to obtain some new puns EL has not used or seen before.
any flaws? just one. if the scepter was a ruse, and EL was in it for the puns, than he loses nothing by revoking the pact. he has already obtained the puns which, unlike material items, are not lost when returned. also because your own definition of what you were paid (and consequently what he must then repay upon failure to uphold his end of the bargain) is so specific, he cannot repay you with new yet equivalent puns and is in fact obligated to repay with your own, gaining you nothing in return.
this is under the assumption that puns have a monatary worth in this thread and it would appear that free puns are worth more than 50 virgins or even 50 brewers given both those offers garnered far less attention in a unrelated pact attempt. congadulations EL on your unscroupulous manipulation and which ever your vice: women, alcholol or something equally pleasurable may it bring you lots of joy. you deserve it. :D

Guess what, guys? I'm putting together the PDF compilation (well, not now; I'm at work at the moment) and the story comes out to a total of 94 pages. That's right, ninety-four pages of awesomeness. Plus the fancy background, of course, if I can get it working. I should have that done by sometime tonight; stay tuned!

thats no fun

So, after all these calls to compile the story, I don't get any comments on the fancy background and all that? The Warlord Fluff thread is going to have to wait--I have a few other projects I want to finish up first--but rest assured, I'll post a link to that here when I start it.

Sorry, I've been at work all day. looks great! Kinda fun to read back through (in bits and chuncks) and notice things that would make an English Lit major cringe.
Thanks!
A wild EscherEnigma appears!
He looks on with disapproval.
ITS SUPER EFFECTIVE!
