Ok, fixed this guy (got rid of furry cloak, skulls and snow and changed skin tone).  Those were simple enough changes.  But burned about two hours trying to fix the missing-face one and can't get anything to look remotely right.  Guess that fix is beyond my apprentice shop-fu.

Hey guys this one could be easy, no additions, just coloring things.

ok, so I need this girl to be a brunette, and the colors on the clothing to be a little more neutral like greens and browns and stuff

And I need the mark taken off of this guys cheek, and maybe make the white fur on the collar brown

thanks so much! You guys help my players so much!

Ok, I fixed him, but she will take a little more time to do right, and I am in a bit of a rush at the moment.  People coming over tonight.  If no one else picks it up, I will try to find time in a couple days (tomorrow is crazy busy too) and do the other one.  In the meantime, hope this one is what you were looking for.

BTW, the white you still see on the cloak is light reflections.  I can take them out, but will look odd with the rest of the picture.  I turned the entire area brown, but it keeps the original gradient and lighting from the original drawing so that is why it still looks light.  If you want that darkened, let me know, but be aware it may look strange compared to the lighting/shading for the rest of the picture.  (Had some issues removing the mark too because his cheekbone splits the light/shade the way it is drawn).

I don't know how difficult this will be for you to find, but I'm assuming it will be pretty difficult, so I'll try to make my request as simple as possible.

Female drow avenger of the Raven Queen.

Actually, most of those details are going to be easily adjusted - heads can be pasted on, skin colors can be changed, etc..

What sort of weapon is the character carrying, and are they wearing robes or any sort of armor? (Most images of females carrying two-handed weapons tend to be somewhat barbarian-looking in either leather or chainmail armor, while women in robes tend to be carrying a staff...)

Well, in that case, she wields a Greatsword and wears cloth armor.
Thanks for your help, Photoshop wizard!

The color changes are just a matter of selecting what you want to change with the selection tools, then doing a "new adjustment layer" with the selection.  It will pull that into a new layer and you select "hue/saturation" as the layer type.  Then you will get slidebars to fiddle with the colors.

The time consuming part is since you want multiple selections done, and hair is tedious selection work, it just takes time to get the selections right so you dont have loose fragments or overlaps cheezing up the results.

Yep, that's pretty much how I do it. I'll usually paste and colorize the whole image initially so I can set the erase tool on a low transparency and get a nice blend at the edges. Also, I like to set the saturation of the colorized layer at max, then adjust the tranparency of the layer down to around 60% depending on how close the new color is to the old to help give the edges a cleaner blend and a more natural-looking color. Sometimes if the new color is totally opposite to the old one or the colors of the surrounding materials I'll even go so far as to desaturate the area to be colored or even colorize it to match the surrounding areas before adding the final color and blending so you don't get those weird colored outlines around the new bit.

Would someone change the skin tone to a light grey so as to appear half-drow. Thanks.
