I remember a few scenes regarding a Tiefling Avenger of Bahamut I played. One of them was the use of the Oath of the Relentless Hunt to trick the enemy into falling back and retreating - leading the party straight to the leader's lair beneath the city and inadvertantly skipping most of the investigation the plot would have required.
The tiefling flung some of the blood from his own wound on the enemy, "Justice find you - no matter where you run." (This was more or less followed by him ended up falling to 0 HP, but the plan worked - I was just kinda risking not having a character to try and pull off the trick.)
Another thing I had with the character ended up being a sort of Judge Dredd theme, with the whole recitation of crimes, "You are guilty of manslaughter, endangering the innocent, destruction of property, lareny, arson, and attempt to impersonate a member of the cloth. How do you plead?" Of course, the enemy would likely laugh or comment or straight out attack - followed by charging into battle.

I play a Shadar-kai Avenger of the Raven Queen, i made 2 oaths for each domain and use them each one a different time so it doesnt get repetitive: Death: May the ravens travel your soul to letherna... My queen demands your soul, and your soul she shall have
