Warforged Psion,. MC: Druid It's hard to say how long you were in that hole. Time seemed to stop. Having been crippled during a great battle, your body was left behind, and forgotten. Left alone with your thoughts, you found you could commune with the very soil that surrounded you. In time, your mind began to assert itself in the world around you. You found you could manipulate objects. You began to assert control also of your inert body, moving it, and reshaping it to the whims of your will. When you emerged from the pit, you found your reflection in a lake, though the reflection that looked back seemed unfamiliar. It was the image of an iron wolf, one covered in moss and overgrowth. Concentrating on the pool, you altered into your former self, the image of a metal soldier, knowing the wolf will always be with you. You also realized that time spent alone with your thoughts has given them strength that weapons could never acheive. You are now ready to return to duty.
I just noticed I got ninja'd, so I'll let the previous suggestion stand. I just thought this was too good to let go.

clarification: I've only access to on-line content - Is a shifter a Changeling?
Through the ages, many would wonder "Does art imitate life or does life imitate art?" I wonder "Does the art of discourse on the internet imitate the art of discourse in life or does the art of discourse in life imitate the art of discourse on the internet?"

clarification: I've only access to on-line content - Is a shifter a Changeling? No. Shifters are descended from lycanthropes, so they appear to be like humanoids with canine or feline features depending on whether they are longtooths or razorclaws.

Longtooth or Razorclaw? I think whatever's not specified, you can pick.
The world is a mess, I just need to... rule it.

I think whatever's not specified, you can pick. Well, that's true in most cases, but when it comes to this, it's kind of pertinent.

They captured you, putting you on display as a beast-man, like some sort of animal. They left you in the dank and dark of a cage, letting you out to put you to use as a laborer. Day in and day out people stared at you. Day in and day out you worked with machines, hoping to one day return to the wilds from whence you came. And then you had an idea. Some scrap metal and a power core later, and you had made your own reminder of what was, a facsimile of your creature of origin. Knowing what they would do, you hid it away while continuing to experiment in your spare time. And now, months later, you have an entire army stashed about the compound, ready to take you back to the place that they so desperately attempted to replicate.

Mute Human Dark Pact Warlock/Bard I'll take a stab at this...
Avandra help me! What was I thinking?!! Oh, who am I kidding, I wasn't thinking. I was good, maybe not the best, but I could sweet talk anyone. How many tales have I told about a little smarts being a dangerous thing. And what do I do? I chase down this foolish notion. A fine tale in itself, the poor performer, "stumbling upon" the old ritual book. Following it to a hidden treasure, with a Djinn to grant his every wish! Ah, but life doesn't always follow the tales. The feydark is twisted in its form, but, alas, the outside is a pale mirror of the innards. Power he offered, power to do what I wanted and get whatever I wanted. And I would not sing again. It sounded good, it really did. Ah, and power I have now - this is true. My very visage causes all around me to suffer. They see the pain in my eyes, the agony I bear. It horrifies them, and they bow down to me. Yes, I have the power I was promised. And as my face now has no mouth, I will no longer sing. So, let my tale be sung by my former brothers and sisters. I record it here for you now, as I will never tell it.

Im not sure what Aerialist Rogue means but ill try.
Death comes from above. you belive that, as does your tribe. As a member of the Jumping Spider tribe you imitate them in your battle style. Their form, their grace, their elegance, and their brutality. However your tribe has been mostly distroyed by wars with drow. You where sent out to find and gather allies against the false spider worshopers and end their lives once and for all.
Umm.. my challenge is: An urban, good aligned, vigilante werewolf (shifter animal druid)
