I'm trying to fill this out for one of my current characters, but I'm perplexed as to how to answer some of the questions, namely about family. You see, he was an orphan raised by Pelorite priests, but he does have a father and a half-sister. At the moment he's met his half-sister (the party's non-multiclass rogue), but neither of them know they're related yet. And neither of them have met their mutual father before. He never knew who his mother, the elf that left him for the priests, was, so that's not an issue.

How do I answer the questions pertaining to family members, if we've established that they are there, but the character themself doesn't know about them yet?

I think a simple "Father (unknown)" type of answer works.

It's sort of like the answers to those questions for my character that is actively evading association with his own family - he has family, but he wouldn't tell you about it no matter how much you asked. I just put down that he did in fact have family, but that he would never admit relation.

Careful, man.  That much logic might be illegal on the internet. - Salla

Answer only what your character would know, if you had a certain priest that you considered a father, than use him as a stand-in, if there was no particular individual who acted like a father, than don't answer. Like when it asks for you to describe growing up with your family, instead answer what it was like to grow up with monks, they are, after all, your foster parents.
