A halfling rouge who specializes in bluff and slight of hand but has a very low wisdom paired with a Dragonborn brutal scoundrel who happens to be very good at bluff and has a low wisdom himself.
The Dragonborn has convinced the Halfling that he is heir to the Dragonborn throne and the Halfling has convinced the Dragonborn that they are twin brothers and that he was polymorphed into a Halfling by an evil wizard who is trying to make certain that the heirs to the throne never restore their kingdom. Where's the 3rd stooge?
Could make for an interesting campaign...

Where's the 3rd stooge?
Could make for an interesting campaign... Ha... true. We ran these characters as a one shot.
Actually had a ball coming up with their backstory.
I played the halfling and would turn everything we did into a fantastic tale with an inflated title(i.e. what seemed like a great adventuring past)
We called ourselves the Maltrek twins. Among other things we Sank the Emperial Fleet, Felled the Giant at Hidden Bluff, defeated the Tyrant of Eshuar, and destroyed the Red Dragon.
This consisted of: 1)burning down an Inn named The Red Dragon by pickpocketing a mage and planting his wand on a burly fighter. The resulting fireball destroyed the Inn.
2)Running from said Inn with the authorities they boarded a grounded ship/tavern named The Emperial Fleet and attempting to sail it. Unfortunately the rudder had been removed ages ago and used to make the bar.
3)convincing a wealthy landowner, who refused to let the halfling marry his daughter Eshuar, to open an underground casino in his basement, then turning him in to the authorities for a substantial reward and running a way with his daughter.
4)Were hired to track down a giant that had been ravaging the lands around Hidden Bluff. When we found the giant and realized we could not defeat it we told it of the foul assassination plot that the stewards of Hidden Bluff had hatched. We directed the giant to our employers who resided in a large building attached precariously to the face of Hidden Bluff..... you get the idea
Brave Knights of W.T.F. Gryphon Helm Winner.
Edition wars kill players, this will kill Dungeons and Dragons.

Halfling rogue who keeps a collection of pet rocks. He gives the 'good rocks' to children via pickpocketing and the bad ones he leaves when stealing. Occasionally throws rocks at people/things in anger, only apologizes to the rock. Keeps one special rock with him that he never gives away, calls it Blossom the Rock. He only steals what Blossom tells him to.
Thinking of using this in my next game. The idea came from him being captured and put into slavery for the drow as a kid - his only friends were rocks.

Two brothers wash ashore with lost limbs, taken in by a wizard who practices in warforged technology.
The wizard develops warforged limbs for these brothers.
Half Warforged? Never seen that before.
