13.) Artificer: You don't work with complex alchemical formulas. You just toss mix this powder and that liquid together, add some of this, and see what happens. It always seems to work, though.

I like this one. This could be a funny concept for a weird gnome artificer...

18) Minotaur Ranger, sling as primary weapon.

from Earth: make your own slingstones; talk to the pottery shop. Before baking the stones, inscribe a rune or hierioglyph or something on it. It doesn't have to actually be magical; it is the effect that counts. Although it could give somebody a laugh (after the battle) to find out the slinger was throwing things that say "ouch", "bruises", "bone-breaker", "darn I missed again" or "Gilgamesh curse whoever gets hit by this".

If it is magical you could have it say "cripple" or "thunder" or "silence" or "you'll really get a BANG out of this".

Best complements I have yet received:
Spoiler: Show

Making it up as I go along:
{BRJN}
     If I was writing the Tome of Lore, I would let Auppenser sleep. But I also would have him dream.
     In his dreaming he re-activates the innate powers of (some) mortal minds. Or his dreaming changes the nature of reality - currently very malleable thanks to Spellplague &c. Or whatever really cool flavor text and pseudo-science explanation people react positively to.
{Lord_Karsus}
You know, I like that better than the explanations for the Spellplague.

My plot device: http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/ … #489880509 (The reaction is the next post.)

Prepped ahead of time:
I started the thread "1001 Failed Interrogation Results"
{ADHadh}
These are all good and make sense!  I just can't come up with something that's not covered here and is not completely ridiculous.

My characters:
Spoiler: Show

Active Characters:
LFR Half-elf StarLock6     Gondolin Nightstar
AoA Dwarf Guardian Druid6     Narvik from House Wavir

Character A-building:
Neverwinter Dwarven Invoker / Heir of Delzoun / worships Silvanus (!)
"Truenamer" - speaks Words of Creation

Concepts I'm kicking around:
"Buggy" Wizard - insect flavor on everything
Halfling Tempest Fighter - just because nobody else is doing it
Shifter Beast-o-phile Druid - for PoL campaign

Yup, time to move back there!

Yup. California is the greatest place on earth. Don't trust anyone who says otherwise. Ever.

Since everyone loves the taupe's character so much, and I know for a fact they're too retarded to post an image on here, I'll put her up. YW, Dremik. She's adorably seasonally appropriate. This pick makes it look like she's caroling in OC.

Behold the awkwardly friendly and happy eladrin wizard.

Augh! California is my home state and we're trying desperately to bail out of here! It's an island of insanity! Even with home prices falling, they're still obscene! BUUUUUUUUT... diff'rent strokes I guess. Born here, but never quite felt "at home" here. Always had my eyes turned to the eastern seaboard. Now we have 26 acres in Maine (they found 5 that they forgot to record!) and just have to build a house there, which probably won't even touch 100 grand for a turnkey set-up. (We looked when we were out there last year.)

And yes, we're aware of the weather.

BTW: Cute drawing!

*dies of cute*

Anyway!

98) Somewhat Creepy But Too Useful To Get Rid of Paladin: You took every possible power that allows you to take hits for your allies, and you use them at every opportunity.
Your party thinks you enjoy it waaay too much. While other paladins are saying "Attack me, foes! I'm more durable than the squishy wizard!", you like to pull foes towards you even if your allies are perfectly capable of handling them.

I use that one a lot. Scorching Burst on me!

My first thought on this was something to do with Warforged.

maybe the warforged paladin is weirdly fascinated by pain...

Maybe he sometimes dives into allies blast zones when the battle is going too smoothly...
