For myself her and Sehanine are my two favourite ones. Though, I generally don't like using gods at all, so too have two favourites is quite an exception. Three if you count Lady of Pain as a god too. I would suggest you stay out of Sigil for a very, very long time simply for suggesting that we should entertain the idea of the Lady of Pain being a mere "god."
Very long time.

Very long time. Well there has been a fair amount of debate on the subject, personally I think within Sigil she is well beyond a simple god. But we haven't seen what she is capable of outside of Sigil in a long-time so hard to measure things up.

Goths and it's sub-cliques are at least a good 50-75% of DnD players IMO. Especially since they tend to want to rebel against things like uber-Christian religions that try and get the books burned for death and demons presented in them. That's at least my attempt at rationalizing it. In all my years of gaming, all of the "goth" and such people that I gamed with all had the same, massively hypocritical, irritating mindset - D&D is for geeks, Real gamers play White Wolf games or Shadowrun.
It is nice to see that group of people - no matter how large - does not indicate that all "goth" gamers are like minded.
Note: I put "goth" in quotation throughout this post because of the large percentage of people I have know that thought that being gothic only meant shopping at hot topic.
Careful, man. That much logic might be illegal on the internet. - Salla

[forgive didn't read all.]
What I think is that she is an Unalighned deity of Natural death. She doesn't want you going around killing people, however some odd shadowfell folks feel they need too. Honostly, if you kill someone evil, so what, it was there time. If there is someone needed to be healed, ask the RQ if it is there time [I roll a d20 a a resalt of 1 or 2 means YES.]
So honoeslty, I know what you mean, she is cool, but the last Death Deity was evil, she is now analighned, putting her judgement on anyone, good or evil.
Although, I chouse her like 1st post [not OP] that she was baised off of a cool Celtic Deity, and I am all about Celtics [Thank my Haritage for that, I also love there weaponry.]
~EDIT~ Also, I resent that remark Mystrich, I am Christian, and I see nothing wrong with these books. I see them ass good harmless fun for healthy people [unlike my dad.] Of corse, I seldom play a Acane or Divine power sorce and almost always a human or elf, I find it fun and enjoyable to play with my friends. That is as long as it doesn't go to far like my dad.
Like I said, it is never the game, it is thoughs who played the game [and my dad scrude up with it, and I will never fumble like he did in life.]

Very long time. "I'm sorry, the Lady of Pain can't fit you into the schedule Tuesday. How about never? Would that be acceptable?"

For the majority of people though? Probably because (out of the core books at least) her Channel Divinity was fantastic. Hehe, I guess that's the real reason, but who wants to admit it?

Very long time. I'd be inclined to suggest that you stay out of Sigil for suggesting that The Lady is divine at all, since she clearly has a hate on for anything even remotely god-like.
What I find most frustrating about 4E is that I can see it includes the D&D game I've always wanted to play, but the game is so lathered in tatical combat rules that I have thus far been unable to coax the game I want out.

I just recently started a 3.5 monk and normaly my monks do not worship deitys when I play them but this time my DM made it a Requirement . So I picked Wee Jas because my monk sees his Ki power as a sort of magic and her philosophy of death is about the same.
I am starting a Living Relms character soon (a warforged Wizard) and He will worship the Raven Queen mostly because he is a mage and as a warforged he dosent really understand the whole concept of life and death yet (still a rellatively young warforged just recently released from his servitude) The Raven Queen provides a simple and logical answer to that . Everyone dies and thats only the start....
