in the PHB you can get the ranger multi-class feat..WHY is it then that you can NOT get a ranger paragon path..only because suddenly the ranger paragon path also need the bow or two weapon ability...why does only the ranger have this..no other paragon path has extra needs..you can go cleric, or warlock even.. is it a typo..or whatever ?
Not a typo. All the Ranger PPs in the original PHB require a Fighting Style, which the PHB1 MC feat doesn't give you.
There are other Ranger PPs from other books that you can take, just not those four.

Hey guys.
What happens (Commonly) if a Lawful Good player casts a heal on an Evil, Lawful Evil player?
Does the heal work as damage?
Does it actually heal?
Or do nothing at all?

Healing powers heal. That's what they do. There is no way for a healing power to deal damage to anything.
Alignment has no mechanical effect on healing powers (or 99.9 percent of the powers in the game).
Another day, another three or four entries to my Ignore List.

Not strictly true - many powers which heal also do damage - and even in the sense I think you mean of the old positive-and-negative-energy stuff from prior editions, there is a Paladin feat that lets you use Lay On Hands as an attack power vs Undead creatures.
But yeah, there's absolutely no mechanical impact on healing powers from alignment, and healing powers will heal whoever you heal with them regardless of alignment.

It does what the power says it does.
Does the heal work as damage?
Does the power SAY it does damage? No? Then it doesn't do damage. Powers do what they say they do.
Does it actually heal?
It does what the power says it does. If it says it heals, it heals.
Or do nothing at all?
Does it SAY it does nothing? If not, it does what it says it does.

So what does food and rations do in this game? we just finished our first encounter and one of my players decided to scavenge for food, but then we realized we dont even know what food does in the game.
Are you able to heal in battle with food or anything?

Extended Rests require food and rest.
How much food, or what type? Not covered.

That's up to you and them. There are no rules covering this.
