Most likely it's a naga of some sort, but any large snake mini would do - and actually, if you can manage to pick up a hobby knife without stabbing yourself in the eye repeatedly, it'd be fairly simple to hack off the head of the snake, bend the "neck" to a more upright position to fit a humanoid head, and glue/pin a suitable head onto it... Given that it's most likely a Large size monster, you should probably look at getting a head from an ogre or troll.

There are no specific rules for grab and fly. As long as you meet the requirements for each seperate rule. The grab condition and a move action.

If a player/DM contests, let the creature have its actions and then the other creature have its actions in order of iniative.

Thanks for answering my question I went ahead and purchased a "desert naga" from the desert of desolation archive. I will re-paint it the appropriate colours.

Yes there is.

Moving a Grabbed Target is an action that let you pull a grabbed target, which is a forced movement, and here is the rules about forced movement two-dimensional:

RC 212 Two-Dimensional: Forced movement is normally two-dimensional; all the squares of the movement must be on the same horizontal plane. Forced movement can become three-dimensional when the target is flying, is moved through a substance such as water, or is on a non-horizontal surface, such as an incline, that supports it. This means an earthbound target cannot normally be pushed to a square in the air, but a hovering target can be. Similarly, a target can be pulled down a flight of stairs, and it can be slid in any direction underwater.

Only if the character is unwilling.

What happens if a flying creature fails a 'move a grabbed target' (strength) check against an unwilling character?

Forced Movement is unwilling. You can't just decide to not be moved.

If a flying creature fails the check to Move A Grabbed Target, it doesn't move nor is the grabbed creature pulled.

RC 200 Willing Movement: Movement of any sort that a creature does of its own free will. Any other sort of movement, such as forced movement, is unwilling.

Forced movement is unwilling

You can't just decide to not be moved*

A character who willingly wishes to be picked up with the creature is not being forced to do so.

type word 'creature' is not an automatic designation whether that creature is unaligned, malicious or an ally.   :P

For all puposes, I appreciate the input, but OP could have been referring to a flying ally that wished to grab the character and move it to safety. The rule in question is whether there are special rules for moving while flying with a grabbed creature. Not whether it is forced or not.

*if you have foresight (player knowledge) and a better initiative than the enemy creature, you could delay an action and as the enemy creature comes to pick you up, you could actually do a melee attack or dodge?

Grabbing someone and moving it is always a Forced Movement (Pull). Wether the creature is an ally or an enemy doesn't change that fact. Only exception about allies is that the check to Move a gGrabbed Target automatically succeed if the creature is an helpless ally. (RC 244)

No Forced Movement is always an unwilling movement because you don't do it on your own free will, something else make you move, wether you are voluntary or not doesn't change that fact.

The word "Forced" in "Forced Movement" doesn't go away or get replaced with the word "Willing" even if the target is Willing. "Forced Movement" is a glossary term.

Because I love analogies: A Stoplight doesn't become a Golight when it turns green.

Yes.  You want "Ready An Action", not "Delay", but you could Ready your move or attack for "when a monster comes adjacent to me".  Then, when it steps in, you can hit it (or run away!) as a Reaction to it's last step of movement, which is an Interrupt to anything else it does because that's how reactions to movement work.

So:  It enters the adjacent square.  Your Reaction goes off, and you move 6 squares away (it doesn't get an Opportunity Attack because this is happening on IT'S turn).  You end your move, and it's turn restarts, with you COMPLETELY in the wrong place.

Confused about Stealth?  Think "invisibility" means "take the mini off the board to make people guess?"  You need to check out The Rules Of Hidden Club.

Damage types and resistances:  A working house rule.
