Q: An ally has been hit with a grab attack, I use a power to teleport and swap our positions. Am I then subject to that same grab?
No. His grab ends, because the rules say it does. Nothing says you become grabbed, so you don't.

Quick question about the character builder. Is there any possible way to save your character as a .pdf? I'm spending a fortune on ink. I have a tablet that I want to take with me for my character sheet, but I can't find an option.

Not inherent to the CB.
There are plenty of free pdf writers to turn to that can do the job, though.
INSIDE SCOOP GAMERS: In the new version of D&D, it will no longer be "Edition Wars." It will be "Edition Lair Assault." - dungeonbastard

there's no native "save as PDF" option, but you can get a free PDF printer like CutePDF or PDFCreator and then "print" to PDF.

If I wanted to switch between drawing magic from a Ki Focus and a Weapon for different powers at different times, would I need to have two Expertise feats (one for the weapon and one for the Ki Focus)? I'm assuming Ki Focused Longsword would be you using the enhancements of the Ki Focus and Longsword would be drawing off from the weapon itself, but I wanted to check.

As many as you qualify for, and are willing to spend the feats on.
Another day, another three or four entries to my Ignore List.

If you're using the ki focus to enhance the weapon for a weapon attack, it's still a weapon attack using the weapon... All your weapon feats apply to the attack/damage/etc as usual. Expertise with the ki focus wouldn't apply because you're not attacking with the ki focus, you're attacking with the weapon. The only thing that changes is that you use the ki focus' enchantment rather than the weapon's.
If you're using the ki focus as an implement, you'll need the feats that apply to the ki focus. (Unless your ki focus just somehow happens to actually be a weapon that you're proficient in as an implement, nothing from your weapon (feats, proficiency bonus, whatever) applies to your attacks since you're not using a weapon at all.)
What class are you playing? There are a number of class-specific feats (as well as Versatile Expertise) which give you expertise in both an implement and a weapon...
Spoiler:
Show
I am the Magic Man. (Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.)
I am the Lawnmower Man. (I AM GOD HERE!)
I am the Skull God. (Koo Koo Ka Choo)
There are reasons they call me Mad...

I'm the DM. One of the players has been begging me to allow him to DM just one sidequest that doesn't have anything to do with the main storyline. I allowed it under the condition that he didn't infringe on the main storyline. He agreed. Well, we played his sidequest tonight and he's completely broken the rule of not infringing. The main storyline has a list of certain items which they players will be finding in my campaign. Instead of leaving the list alone, he's had us find two of the items as treasure in his sidequest. How am i supposed to tell the party that both of those items were never found?
p.s.- i've already told them that no one will be dming again.
