Is there anyone who has made a character sheet as the one in the new CB (non-essential version)?
I've put together a somewhat updated version of it. You can find a link to a thread with several iterations of it in my sig.

I made a modified version of the Red Box/Essentials character sheet in Excel here docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B9vKkmeaWD1rOTZ...
I added a few things like ammo, character background, paragon path, epic destiny, rituals, and did an overhaul on the powers section. This sheet should be able to carry a level 30 character. I tried it with a level 30 Warpriest, and the only place I ran out of room for was the Daily utilities. I just carried over Resurrection and Holy Cleansing into the Rituals section, because they essentially make up for the lack of ritual caster feat (although a warpriest could just pick that up as their first level feat, but I digress...)
What it purposefully lacks:
- Passive Perception/Insight - Since the DM is really the only person that would be referencing this number, and s/he usually wants to be sneaky about it, s/he should just have the number behind his/her screen. I hated this about the original Essentials sheet, but grew to see an argument for not needing it on a character sheet.
- Action Point space: For the sake keeping the sheet neat, I just figured you could record action points in the Character Notes section.
- Formulas: The game is too friggin' huge for me to program them, and I just can't program some and leave out others. You're free to do it yourself if you feel like it.
For a blank sheet, just delete all the dark red font - viola! For a neat computer printed sheet, just type in your own info.
I'm pretty happy with it, I hope you guys are too.
---- edit: fixed link
This is an awesome job. Love it. I'm printing 50 copies to bring to my next newbie game night! Thank you!
Hi, Hope you do not mind, but i used your work as a base for a landscape oriented essentials character sheet.
I really have to say Thanks to you!

Thanks for the access to the character sheets - any way you could do one with a retro-D&D font -like almost Old English?

Just a quick "Thank You!" Love the sheets - they take me back to the 80s and 1E!

Never played 1E (way before my time) but I'm using quindia's too. I love the permanent one, the adventure one is a little akward (you're always stuck writing the akward way on a normal binder), but still pretty good. Now if only I could figure out why two of them are blue...

SirOmega, the sheets mimic the 1e Permanent Character Record Sheet. The main four sheets made a folder with the two black ink as the outer side and the inner in blue. The 'akward' sheets were inside the folio. Actually, my players fill out the adventure sheets before adding them to their binders. If you really want to get old school, you print the adventure sheets on pale blue paper rather than white...

Quindia, The concept seems pretty awesome. The only thing is 4e is so reliant on power cards, I would be writing an awful lot. What do you do for power cards?

My apologies, Cofam... I JUST saw your query. My group still uses the online builder when they make their characters and we use the cards at the table. The spaces on the sheet are just to list the names of the powers...
