I made a modified version of the Red Box/Essentials character sheet in Excel here docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B9vKkmeaWD1rOTZ...I added a few things like ammo, character background, paragon path, epic destiny, rituals, and did an overhaul on the powers section. This sheet should be able to carry a level 30 character. I tried it with a level 30 Warpriest, and the only place I ran out of room for was the Daily utilities. I just carried over Resurrection and Holy Cleansing into the Rituals section, because they essentially make up for the lack of ritual caster feat (although a warpriest could just pick that up as their first level feat, but I digress...) What it purposefully lacks:
- Passive Perception/Insight - Since the DM is really the only person that would be referencing this number, and s/he usually wants to be sneaky about it, s/he should just have the number behind his/her screen. I hated this about the original Essentials sheet, but grew to see an argument for not needing it on a character sheet.
- Action Point space: For the sake keeping the sheet neat, I just figured you could record action points in the Character Notes section.
- Formulas: The game is too friggin' huge for me to program them, and I just can't program some and leave out others. You're free to do it yourself if you feel like it.
For a blank sheet, just delete all the dark red font - viola! For a neat computer printed sheet, just type in your own info. I'm pretty happy with it, I hope you guys are too. ---- edit: fixed link
Mike Mearls regarding feedback for D&D Next: "The big thing is to avoid snark and an overly antagonistic attitude. We're human, and it's easy to tune out someone who comes across as a crank."

This is an awesome job. Love it. I'm printing 50 copies to bring to my next newbie game night! Thank you!

Updated my custom Essentials sheet: community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/758...--------------------------------------------- Update: New version 1.2 in B&W and Color
CHANGES
- Added extra power slots for epic destiny and paragon path. Powers per game element now = Race:1, Theme: 1, Class: 10, Path: 3, Destiny: 2, Utility/Skill: 10.
- Moved wealth to middle column by slightly shrinking magic item lines and:
- Made healing surges and surges per day one line instead of two.
- Increased size of class feature box.
STILL TO COME
- Power Sheet
- Form-fill version
STILL NEED
- A free font that looks more like the one on the sheet (I think it is FF Legato).
QUESTIONS
- Are there enough power slots per game element?
- Is there enough room for class/race features?
- Any other suggestions?

I made a customized sheet based on the Red Box sheet, and some power card blanks to go with it. www.4shared.com/document/UhqfvGa_/Essent...
Careful, man. That much logic might be illegal on the internet. - Salla

Feel like linking to the thread about the sheet draco and I have been working on? Link can be found in my signature, or here for your convenience. It's a modified version of the new CB sheet with parts of the original sheet incorporated.

Can anyone suggest a good dynamic sheet? Basically I want something I can plug my numbers into and the sheet would compile them. I know its not that hard to do but....I am lazy .

Is there anyone who has made a character sheet as the one in the new CB (non-essential version)?
