No. You haven't.
The above description was little more than an explanation of what something is and how it functions. It was barebones. It was not fleshing something out at all. That was my reference to the leaving out of fluff. Looks plenty fleshed out to me. At least half the entries have nothing to do with how it functions, by the way.

It shouldn't have more than barebones fluff.
That way leads to One True Way to play Monte Crac head style systems and games.

That was my reference to the leaving out of fluff. You did not say "the entries are not well fluffed out" (which you would be making a statement of opinion, one I disagree with but an opinion) you said "there is no fluff in the 4E MM". The second statement is wrong and provably so. I did in fact prove you wrong by demonstrating the inclusion of fluff (non rules related information).

I would rather have names, than no names. You couldn't imagine some of the horrible names for things I've seen over the years. If one's not given to you, someone is bound to make one that is far worse than what could have been given.
Mindless Berko to describe an Orc with barbarian levels... just to name an example. (one of the better ones at that)
You might not like em. But they do make life better for everyone slightly. It keeps people from going "WTF is a Mindless Berko?" at the water cooler :P In my opinion I do not think that "Mindless Berko" is worse than the term Pali being used for Paladin, or Wizzy for Wizard.
Gygaxian is NOT a slur. Those who use it as such should be punched in the face. Repeatedly.

In first edition once you got past a certain point you where not fighting orcs anymore you had moved to more dangerous areas where the monsters eat orcs. The same is true of any edition of DnD. Much the same as there have been naming conventions to help separate different types of the same monster.
