You sir, sandersn, are a excel god amongst freeloading boys (and girls). I have no idea what exactly motivates you to keep producing such ridiculously useful tools but I hope there is still some of it out there.
Even if you never update this spreadsheet again, thank you so much. I am just getting into 4e from 2.5e (been out of the loop for a while) and I am so confused about everything. There are so many new rules and concepts and so much more fine tuning that I feel I can't keep up. This spreadsheet has given me a bit of hope that I might understand how my character works before I start a campaign with buddies this summer.

Ski, you haven't updated this therad or your blog lately. Are you continuing your project even though WotC released their Character Builder? I hope you are!

I sure hope too! i really liked the v2 but no update since then.. Yours seems the best out there (unless wiesbaden xls updates with phb2 content.. )

Any pending updates? I've added a little bit of PHB2 to my OpenOffice version of Ski's CharGen but I'm making it up as I go along. The process would be much smoother (and the results likely much better) if it was done by someone who actually knew what he was doing. 8o)
