Thirded. Though I do not understand what's going on with the warlock powers; for some of them, there's absolutely no indication which kind of warlock can take it. Does that mean any warlock can take those powers? What happened to the bracket that explained which type of warlock can use which power?
Oh, and Arcane Familiar is the single greatest feat ever gifted to the arcane classes of 4e from the gods. Take it and never look back. look at page 77 to answer that warlock question.

Warlocks can choose any powers, they just get bonuses if they choose the ones that key off their pact. Like SM's and the type of Aegis powers they have.

Suck it up and drive on.

Hey, if you guys want to head over to the rpg.net sister thread and answer some questions there, that would be awesome :D

Actually, Warlocks aren't limited to certain powers because of their pact. The pacts listed in the parenthesis for the powers in the PHB serve two purposes. First, they indicate which pact the designers felt best matched the flavor of the power. Second, they (sometimes) help point out powers that receive an added benefit when used by someone with an appropriate pact. Since the first function is all fluff and the second function can be duplicated by simply looking for a pact bonus line in the power, the designers probably felt it wasn't necessary. Or maybe they just forgot.
Edit: Guess I should refresh before posting. Ninja'd three times. Geez.

I was lucky enough to get myself a copy of Arcane Power today, so I'm also willing to help if anyone still has any unanswered questions regarding it. Thank you very much, LordYawgmoth.
Forgive me if this has already been asked/answered somewhere else, but I'm still waiting for my copy of AP and am dying to know:
Are there enough wizard summoning spells to make a wizard an exclusive summoner?
Likewise, are there enough new illusion powers to make a wizard an exclusive illusionist?

Likewise, are there enough new illusion powers to make a wizard an exclusive illusionist? There's a "Summoning Magic" sidebar that notes that actual summoning spells are all dailies as they have long-lasting effects; it also notes that the typical summoner uses conjurations in addition to actually summoning creatures.
Counting that, yes to both questions. Every spell level has at least one illusion and at least one conjuration, summon, or power that boosts summons. Count

Warlock's can take whichever power they want (except for non-humans on the at-will powers). Nothing restricts them to any of the encounter attack, daily attack, or utility. They can get bonuses from some due to their pact. Since different pacts focus on cha or con, some are better than others. Read the box on page 77, "Pacts and Powers."

A gnome illusionist seems like it would be very powerful if statted out properly. The conjurer I'm not so sure, as it seems most of the summons require standard actions to attack. I'm curious as to how powerful or viable a pure conjurer would be.

To w00f:
I'm not sure what you mean by melee warlock. The only warlocks I know of that should be in melee are the ones wielding Pact Weapons or the ones that are multiclassed/hybrid-classed... There are some awesome Warlock feats, though, so let's take a look at them!
*snip* I was referring to a Warlock that spends most time in melee utylizing Eldrich Strike to the fullest. I'd already gleaned that Implement Proficiency: Heavy Blades might help him, was wondering if there were any more that would aid a melee oriented caster. All those Warlock feats you posted helped though, thanks lots! :D
