Haven't had the pleasure, though I do remember seeing his books. A lot of them actually. I think the Asprin shelf rivaled the Asimov shelf in my local Half-Price Books.
They are fun books, you should give them a try

Yes. The main character is definately flash over substance in terms of power.
Oh, and Asprin isn't nearly as prolific as the Good Doctor.

We eventually decided not to change this template, because players are used to “becomes an artifact creature,” and like it much better. Players were used to Combat on the Stack, but you got rid of that because it was unintuitive. The only phrase needed is "in addition to its types"; the others are misleading and unintuitive.

*I do have to ask the question: Why not play diablo if all you want to do is move around and deal hit point damage? I've heard diablo 3 has come out. Just curious.
Because Diablo = 3.5, and 3.5 is horrible.
If anything I say is wrong, clueless or spelt incorrectly, it is because, I am, in general, wrong, clueless and... Well, I'm usually spelt correctly.

I was tickled pink when I realized I could make The Hollows and Dresden's Universe a campaign setting without altering too much of D&D (just adding in guns really.) Thanks to 4e and it's rules.

I was tickled pink when I realized I could make The Hollows and Dresden's Universe a campaign setting without altering too much of D&D (just adding in guns really.) Thanks to 4e and it's rules.
Yup very very true, a bit harder would be doing the Aloren codex.

How good is the 4th book in the Hollows series anyway? I've not started on it, I'm finishing up Outbound Flight right now (It's a Star Wars novel... a damned good one)

Lets put it this way it will A throw you for a couple loops and B will bring a lot of things from the other books together, and C make you want the next one to be out.
