I'd say no the melee basic attack will not take place before Charming Kiss resolve being a free action. But YMMV expect table variation so check with the DM.

"they need to interrupt in order to function"?? Huh, What does...? Wait, I will ask like this.
If the defense held and force a miss, okay all will resolved clearly.
but if the defense isn't enough and kiss hits. Ok that unfortunate then the question is;
How the attack with target dominated?
OR
To ask plainly can you un-confused me about this scenario with the dominated target grant a free MBA against the target's dominator's?
Then there's this sceanrio:
The defense isnt enough but the MBA has a shift or a slide effect. Does the kiss fails by no target in range?

If Charming Kiss still hit Krana, she will not be able to make the melee basic attack against the succubus because she cannot attack it.
Similarly, If Dominate still hit Krana, she will not be able to make the melee basic attack against the succubus because she cannot take actions.

Powerful Warning is an Interrupt, and the MBA is part of the effect. I would argue that it is also part of the interrupt and should go off before the dominating attack does.
The "free actions as interrupts or reactions" rule only applies to free actions that are triggered, this one is not.

This - the MBA would be a reaction to the Immediate Interrupt that is Powerful Warning, but would still interrupt Charming Kiss, because reactions to interrupts do that.

How is the free action "triggered"? The II has a trigger, and then it provides a free action to the targeted ally, but that doesn't look like a "trigger" to me...
