really i just want to know if, as a self-forged PP artificer, could i have one arm be an armbow superior crossbow and have my other arm be the battlefist with an embeded whip that i could switch between as a minor action?
related question: could warforged/self-forged/person who can embed and attach weapons, with the spiked chain training MC feat embed the chain? it is 2 handed but part of it is offhand

Unfortunatly, you cannot take the Self-Forged Paragon Path as a Revenant (Warforged) because you don't meet the Prerequisit due to Past Life.
HoS 116 Past life: Select a race other than revenant. You are also considered a member of that race for the purpose of meeting prerequisites, such as feat or paragon path prerequisites.
EPG 65 Prerequisite: Any race except warforged, must be an artificer
Interesting. I would normally read the underlined part as "in order to meet prerequisites", but you are correct that a strict, literal reading could cause one to not meet a prerequisite. Though I personally would still allow this one if the character builder did.

The reason why Self-Forge go down this path is because they want to become Warforged. Their level 16 feature even allow them to attach or embede components as if they were Warforged.
As for Battlefist, its not even a one-handed weapon and only weapon that are one-handed can be Warforged Component. If you bypass those strict RAW Prerequisits, hypothetically a Self-Forged could have both a Battlefist and a Armbow Superior Crossbow as Warforged Components attached with the DM permission i suppose but this would fall in the houserule territory.
A Spiked Chain could not be embeded as a Warforged Component because its a two-handed weapon and these cannot be attached or embedded.EPG 113 Weapon:Weapons can be embedded or attached components. Two-handed weapons cannot be attached or embedded. A one-handed ranged or melee weapon can be attached to a hand, although you can still have only one weapon per hand, regardless of whether the weapon is held normally or attached.

Regarding Five Stars Five Strikes:
"If your next melee attack this turn hits, roll four extra attack rolls (using the same modifier as the initial attack roll)"- Do these attack rolls count as attack rolls from the original power? If one of them crits, does the initial attack crit? Or are they separate from the power, despite being extra, and are only item/utility attack rolls?
"deal 1d8 extra damage to the creature you hit" This doesn't specify whether it's the same type as the original attack or not. Is it? I presume that the answer is no, because it doesn't specify, but I thought I'd check this too.

But a Revenant Warforged isn't actually Warforged anymore.

It is for the purposes of Paragon Path Prerequisits.

But not according to what it is to be a Revenant.
I'm not arguing the RAW, I'm arguing the RAW is stupid.

No. You can select powers of level lower but not higher.
