So I'm trying to figure out how the Shaman's spirit companion works with regards to movement.

1) Is the companion susceptible to Opportunity Attacks?
1a) If so, may the companion shift to prevent OAs?

I'm leaning towards "no" for the first (which obviates the second), as the language in Call Spirit Companion differs substantially (to my mind) from that used for a Ranger's beast companion

Specific language for reference:
"When you take a move action, you can also move the spirit a number of squares equal to your speed."
versus Ranger language:
"Your beast companion or both of you take a move action. The move actions need not be the same."
