Let's say I'm rollind 2d4 for my damage die. Does this feature apply to each individual die, or to the "damage die" as a whole?

It doesn't say "per die" the way things like Brutal do, and in fact it specifically calls out "a roll", which is an established term that means a whole set of dice.

So I'd say RAW it means the whole roll, including bonuses and things.  Which would make it completely useless.  Which means I think you *have* to edit it to mean "per die", and yes that would mean that 1d4 is now 3,3,3,4.

Looking at your response, I don't think it applies to the total damage result, just the damage roll, so 2d4 would be result in 3-8 damage, plus modifiers.

Still not awesome, though.

Even then he has a point in that something that's, say, 3[W] is still one roll, and Know Your Strength would do nothing for any 3+[W] power if you apply it to the roll as a whole.  Since that's highly unlikely to be the intent of a Paragon feature, doing it per die rather than per roll is probably the reading closest to the intent.

Okay, then, different scenario. Let's say I'm using a weapon with Brutal 1, like a khopesh or something. Do I reroll a 1, or treat is a 3? Or do I get a choice?

I'm saying reroll.

New question: If you have both white lotus riposte feats, and used an elemental power with the initial attack, how does enemy vulnerability relate to it?

Do I get extra damage from the enemy's vulnerability twice, due to White Lotus Riposte's modifier damage, and then Master Riposte's repeated attack?

Space Invader, for Evil Undone, how can I use it for sorcerer powers? I happen to be MC'ed avenger, but my main beef is having to pay for two weapons and swap them around (although I use a double axe and once I buy a ruby scabbard, taking out the dagger will hardly be an issue.)

Property: Divine characters can use this weapon as a holy symbol implement for divine powers.

I don't understand how that works.

He was assuming that it meant that Divine characters could use it as a holy symbol implement *period*, which would allow them to use it as an implement for all powers.

(Because implement proficiency gives proficiency for all powers, that's why.)

However, this specific magic weapon only works for Divine powers, so that doesn't work.

Two triggers from the same event!  Normally that means you pick which to apply.

Confused about Stealth?  Think "invisibility" means "take the mini off the board to make people guess?"  You need to check out The Rules Of Hidden Club.

where can I find the rules for attaching equipment to warforged? I see people mention attaching heavy shields for example and I am not familiar with any special component items other than a couple swords and armor plating choices and a few misc. items.

Hi, Can the damage dealt by the at-will granted by winged weapon enchantment benefit from the pervasive light feat?

I have some quick questions and I have looked back over forums (including the last 30 pages of this thread with no success.) If they have been asked before then sorry:

Q1 Vampire Attack 3 – Feral Assault has the special line

“Special: You can lose a healing surge when you use this power to either target a second creature or deal 2d8 extra damage with the attack.”

At which point do you expend the healing surge? To gain the ability to target two creatures it is quite obviously before you make the attack roll. But it seems odd to expend a healing surge (a rare resource) for a modest damage boost on an attack you might miss; is it intended for the surge to be spent in this case after you have already hit?

Q2 – Is there a resource somewhere I can find that lists items and feats that apply bonuses when charging, or while bloodied or whilst attacking bloodied enemies?

Q3 – Can themes be used in LFR?

Another question on Vampires: Does this expenditure count towards Tattoos (eg Eager Heroes)?
