Group is starting up a new campaign.
-We'll be starting in low-mid heroic. -We have four party members. -One member is set on playing a druid, but hasn't picked a specific build. -I would like to play a Warlord|Warlock, as a leadery striker with some enabling ability.
The other two members are completely undecided on what to play. My inclination would be to add a striker with a good basic, and a defender. Any of you have any suggestions?
You're heavy on the control side at the moment, what with a Druid and a hybrid Warlock. The weird part of the equation for me is who handles Str and who handles Dex, so I might get a little strange with the following two additions(assuming you're Int/Cha): Str/Cha Thaneborn(via Hybrid Talent) Barbarian|Cleric who MCs into Warlord via Resourceful Leader and maybe Bravura Leader. Focuses on Barbarian encounter attacks, Str Cleric dailies, and healing Cleric utilities. Has an MBA via Power of Skill, big weapon, and Righteous Brand - which then gives +3 to hit until EoNT to the next guy:
Str/Dex Tempest Fighter|Ranger who MCs into either Rogue or Assassin for Thievery and some extra damage.
That ought to cover all the major skill groups plus be in general a fun group.

Battlefield Archer or Wild Sorcerer Sword-n-Board Fighter (ok, actually Flail and Board)
Sorcerer has better Basics, but Ranger will do more damage themselves. Fighter will also have a good basic for DFTS and such. Is that really so hard, guys?
"Invokers are probably better round after round but Wizard dailies are devastating. Actually, devastating is too light a word. Wizard daily powers are soul crushing, encounter ending, havoc causing pieces of awesome." -AirPower25 Sear the Flesh, Purify the Soul; Harden the Heart, and Improve the Mind; Born of Blood, but Forged by Fire; The MECH warrior reaches perfection. A PC can only make 1 free action attack per turn regardless of whether it is there turn or not correct? But they may take any number of free action movements without having to worry about the Free action restrictment?
I came up against this problem this evening when using TS on my character after using Create Opportunity on the same target. I was about to hit the target twice with a ranged attack allowing me to grant 2 MBAs to the friendly fighter next to the target but he can only take one of those attacks and after I pass out one attack per melee character I have to resort to only passing out shifts correct?
Currently working on making a Dex based defender. Check it out hereSpoiler:

Need a few pre-generated characters for a one-shot you are running? Want to get a baseline for what an effective build for a class you aren't familiar with? Check out the Pregen thread here If ever you are interested what it sounds like to be at my table check out my blog and podcast here Also, I've recently done an episode on "Refluffing". It is one free action attack power per turn, to be precise. So yeah, one MBA as a free action (MBA is an attack power, normally a standard, taken as a free in this case) then you you're done till a new turn starts.

A party lost 2 members recently and now consists of a wild sorcerer, a sword-and-board fighter, and a primal predator druid.
So a leader and a striker seems pretty obvious but is there anything that would work especially well with that composition?

Half-Elf Soul.
I know that much, but what feats would I have to take to do that. I do not have all the books and I don't have a subscription to D&DI.

The feat is called Half-Elf Soul. You take it. It swaps the reventant racial power for dielattante.
It's not difficult.

I'd go with a Tactical Warlord(for Int-based skills) and a melee Ranger(for focused damage + skills)
Ranger ought to consider hybriding Cleric for Battle Cleric's Lore - assuming either the sorcerer or druid is responsible for the thievery check, that lets him go Str/Wis without any issues. If that's not true, go Str/Dex and MC into Assassin, Monk, or Rogue for some extra damage + Thievery skill. Tactical Warlord could go for one of the various Int-based Switch builds.
