Have you considered updating this build with feats like: Dual Implement Caster Versatile Expertise (Orb/ Heavy Blades) Improved Defences ( in place of Robust Defences)

Considering the original build was over three years old, I'm sure there would be a good bit of updating needed, but the OP doesn't post much anymore so its not likely to see an update.

Not sure if someone has pointed this out yet or not, but it appears this build doesn't work as presented. When replacing Flaming Sphere, you must also replace Sleep at the same time. You can't replace Flaming Sphere, and another power of another level (in this case, Ice Storm), as per the following from the Wizards PHB FAQ ( wizards.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/...): 7. How does retraining and multiclassing work with the spellbook?
If you retrain a daily or utility power you only retrain one of your two choices for that level, if you choose a lower level power while retraining it still occupies the same level. If you swap a power with a power from a different class through multiclassing you replace both spell choices with the new power. If you are replacing spells as you gain a level, like at 15th level when you replace a daily power, you replace the spells from one level with an equal number of spells from the new level.
That makes me sad, because I love Sleep

Whenever you pick a spell, you can choose to pick a lower level spell. You can replace Sleep with Sleep.
