Cheese Level 4!: The Incredible Edible Pet The ultimate level of cheese: Disintegrate or otherwise reduce your pet down to its component parts. It is still alive, even when pulverized to a fine dust. You eat it, or embed a hair of it (the last living bit of it, so the hair is the beast) inside your arm or something. From then on, you have complete immortality, since they'll never be able to get your pet away from you. Go ahead and redirect everything to your pet - your own body will block line of sight for teleporting, and you certainly don't need to worry about your pet being dominated any more. For some reason (and I think it's from people who haven't played earlier roleplaying games) think that the rules prohibit you from pulverizing your beast companion, but 4th edition only has restrictive rules when it comes to the combat system. For stuff outside of combat, like making fences, or sailing ships or eating your pet so you can become the ultimate ranger lich, 4th Edition just assumes you can.

I don't know if this has ever been mentioned before, but how do you disintegrate your pet WITHOUT bringing it below 0 hit points, and therefore rendering the entire thing useless?

Also, do you understand the implications of this?  I could have my character grind himself into a paste, slide under a doorway(still above 0hp, lol), and then still be fully capable of, say, attacking monsters on the other side.

Edit: Wait, you're talking about the effect transfer ability, nevermind.  Although you still can't see it inside you.

Please optimize the build so that i can make it in the char builder

Pick which level of cheese you want... the build will look a little bit different at each level.

You know, I read this thread a couple times before, and it just hit me -- I'm glad I'm not the only person who draws parallels between Voldemort and Orochimaru. Evil big bad, former favored student of the old man headmaster-type, leaves a mark on a kid mystically linking the two of them, heavily snake-themed and has a snake pet/companion, wants to live forever...
The world is a mess, I just need to... rule it.

Interesting. I've never watched Naruto, I just thought the illustration was perfect for the build.

What stops the pet from healing?  I mean it has two healing surges, and its at 0 hp.  So it rolls a death save every round.  Fails oops, no big deal.  Roll a 20, spend a healing surge.  Now its back to 1/4 hp.  So even if you disintegrate it or eat it since it can't die it will eventual heal.
