Yes, I realize that you can get into daggermaster through multiclass, but the hybrid sorcerer|rogue gets much more mileage out of it due to getting sneak attack damage with the powers. I disagree with you about Cosmic Soul though, it's almost exactly the same as with ranger's stormwarden ability. Melee rangers are Str/Wis and stormwarden keys off Dex. Even if it's a measly 2 damage that's still enough to automatically make minions die. Not to mention it's radiant damage and many things are vulnerable to radiant damage.

Hybrid rogues can only sneak attack with rogue powers; you aren't going to be sneak attacking with sorcerer powers (which you could do with a multiclass rogue, once per encounter, more with a wraithblade).

Optimized stormwardens will often go str/dex to up their auto damage and AC at the expense of wisdom riders, as do a lot of other melee rangers just so they have a decent AC in hide; pit fighters and others with something more than just the normal wisdom riders are the only melee rangers that need to pump wisdom that much. Cosmic soul would be nice against undead, though. I do expect them to fix things so you only get the resistance from cosmic soul before the final version, but it's abuseable for now.

I meant sneak attack with the daggermaster powers. Granted it isn't a huge deal, but it's a nice perk.

Any thoughts on good barbarian | warlord / avenger builds for dragonborn? Specifically, for a Dragonborn who's going for Draconic Arrogance and the Polearm Gamble route, with Scion of Arkhosia as a paragon path (just for fun)?

Paladin - They took the weakest mark among the classes and made it even weaker. This should either be automatic damage or be the same damage and require the immediate action, but both make it really weak. An even better option would be to make it like the Swordmage hybrid mark.

Well, a Dwarf Cleric/Paladin would very much be a powerful healing font, since Healing word augments the HP of cleric powers, and Lay on Hands is also a curing ability (WIS dependant).

A chaladin with WIS would be a good defender.

Cleric|Fighter At level 1 can take Comeback strike for some extra healing also frees up level 5 daily for Weapon of the gods. Youre stuck in chainmail without feats so take tempest and go warpriest or pitfighter/son of mercy. Level 2 utility being pass forward and the rest are encounter healing from cleric. Honestly I would take righteous brand and dual strike. That way you can help set up a nova round for the melee striker. Take a double sword and you're set.

Cleric|Warden works out great too. Marking from level 1, wear Hide and add wisdom to AC. Some warden Utilities have healing and you can always find a cleric one that does. Only problem is weapon prof. though I might take a hit to stats in order to start as a Dwarf.

I think Defender|Leader hybriding is useful for times where you join a group and there is no defender and 1 leader. That extra healing can go a long way on the squishies.

Druid - This is the exact same benefit as the multiclass feat...and its options don't seem that good to me. If you're looking for a splash of druid there's no reason to ever take this, If you're wanting more than that, you give up too much to take this. I think they should probably give you a bonus beast power at will.

I agree, I was expecting wildshape plus a beat at will so I am a little underwhelmed. One thing personally i would love is if rather than that you gained an ability to use weapon or implement powers in beast form. This way you could play a druid fighter, get 1 beast form at will and 1 fighter at will and focus on beast form powers. Lets you play an actual shapechanger that can do other roles but still change shape. Right now you are so limited in what you can do in beast form, you cant even make melee basic attacks.

One thing I want to say though is THANK YOU! By including the fractions in the hp/healing surges you finally told us we think you can do basic math and makes it so much easier and more balanced.

One question i have is normally healers gain a third use of their healing word type ability at 16, is this gone or do you get to add 1 to one of your classes so if you were playing a cleric/warlord could you get 3 but if you played a cleric/warrior would you gain 1 or just be stuck with the original, im curious how this will play out

I can see adding a feat.

Paragon Leader
Pre-Req: level 16, Hybrid in a leader role.
Benefit: You gain an additional use of your hybrid healing power(wordiness i know). If you are a Hybrid in 2 leader classes you may pick which one you gain an additional use of.

something like that

what about avenger/defender who marks target A then oaths target B , and useing hybrid talent to have the Int census that does mor edamage if you get attacked...combine that into a swordmage/avanger and the DM has a horrid lock down...If B attacks you, then you get bonus damage Vs A, if he doesn't you negate damage...pretty bad

I am sure someone here can do a better build then I did, but it looks pretty bad

If you have two people on you, then you lose your Oath of Enmity benefits. This combination is really more detrimental than beneficial, but it might be functional if you mark your oath target.
