Well, 4e is here and there are more homebrewed 4e races appearing than there are official ones in the PHB and MM. That being the case, I thought I'd provide a central thread to link all the custom updates and purely original 4e races in the interim. I'll put links in as I see them; if I've missed one that's already here or someone posts a new one, feel free to reply to this thread to let me know. Thanks to Wizardmon, we have an easy-to-use format for custom races that can save you the trouble of creating your own formatting. If you wish to use it, the template (with a few of my own modifications) is in the spoiler block at the end of this post for easy quoting and copy-pasting. If you want a program that will format everything for you, try the DM's Toolkit, courtesy of Leichenreiter and myself. ------------------------- Please do not post your races in this thread; post the race writeup in another thread and post a link to it here. Not at all; I said I'd probably miss some, didn't I?
EDIT: Changed the title to simply "4e Race Compendium" since we're not just doing 3e updates anymore.

I'm a game-obsessive high school senior without a drivers lisence. I am biding my time until my highschool days are over and 4e comes out. X.X

You could certainly say that, since I have played WoW and enjoyed the experience, and completely understand the rationale behind WotC's decision to borrow back some design and play aspects. However, it wouldn't be completely accurate to call me that, because I created my character on there based on a RP concept, and I do not currently play.
Also, I myself do not consider myself to be one of them. I do not refer to Corrin Reedson as an off-tank, as one of my players so eloquently put it, and "DPS" is not in my vocabulary, but "Knowledge(Religion)" is.
