I created a subrace (along the lines of Dragon's Vamphyr (Dragon #371) called Shadowborn. In addition to related feats and swappable abilities, I also created the Shadowfell Adept (a Paragon Class).
I tried to make it balanced as I could but feedback regarding balance or the like is welcomed...and thank you to all who already provided me with feedback.

Not to be a nitpicker, but you mispelled my name when you put the Lumiukko in. Perhaps when you next update you could could change it to Fedosu, instead of Feduso. Thanks in advance, I don't want to be a hassle.

This may be partially to single out my Vampire Spawn, but do you think a section for racial templates would be helpful? I personally don't know how many, if any, have been submitted to this thread, but it may help if there are more than one (I'm adding more by the way).

Well, a section for templates might be helpful, but I don't know if I'd have time to go through all of them; you may have noticed that I've been updating this thread less and less frequently, as I've been swamped with midterms and projects and such. If you went through and made up a list of templates in the OP, I might be able to do something about it.

Do we have to be the race creator in order to post the link? Found a great Bariaur race conversion to 4e by Kamikaze Midget (clicky) and I liked it so much that its absence from this list bothers me on a very deep and personal level. :D

You should think about a section for Core Variant's, you know, homebrew alterations of core races would in the 4E manuals? I have a few of those I'm working on converting into a blog, but I don't see a section on this thread itself. Something to think about maybe?

Well, 4e is here and there are more homebrewed 4e races appearing than there are official ones in the PHB and MM. That being the case, I thought I'd provide a central thread to link all the custom updates and purely original 4e races in the interim. I'll put links in as I see them; if I've missed one that's already here or someone posts a new one, feel free to reply to this thread to let me know.
Thanks to Wizardmon, we have an easy-to-use format for custom races that can save you the trouble of creating your own formatting. If you wish to use it, the template (with a few of my own modifications) is in the spoiler block at the end of this post for easy quoting and copy-pasting. If you want a program that will format everything for you, try the DM's Toolkit, courtesy of Leichenreiter and myself.
