... Perhaps an "Unfinished and Speculative" section for classes that (A) aren't complete and/or (B) use uncertain sources/roles/mechanics/etc.? As Belladonna isn't quite satisfied with her class (and has a few just-for-laughs abilities in there) the Bruiser could go there, with the outlines of the Vampire Lord Path--along with any Martial Controllers, should they show up--until and unless they're fleshed out completely.
Thoughts? Excellent compromise.

I don't especially care for coining new power sources either because those are subject to an equal amount of bickering -- take "Tech" or "Ki," for example. Just think of all the threads dedicated to bickering over whether those two have a place in the game. Hmm. If somebody wants to bicker, they'll find something to bicker about.
I don't want to stifle creativity for the sake of "getting along".

I don't want to stifle creativity for the sake of "getting along". That's why we're going with "speculative" section--it doesn't say "That's a stupid idea!" to those wanting to make new sources, while letting people know that they aren't official.

On a related note, would people appreciate it if I did something to denote role and source in the class links--color code, extra letters, whatever--to help people find, say, another Arcane Controller when they want it?

If you wanted to "Color Code" based on Source, I would say Martial - Brown Arcane - Red Divine - Blue
If you wanted to denote role, you could simply make headers saying "Defender" or whatever with the classes of that role below it.
As for Paths and things, I would say use the same color code, but have after the Path name, "(Cleric)" or whatever class the path is applicable for.

If you wanted to "Color Code" based on Source, I would say Martial - Brown Arcane - Red Divine - Blue That's mostly what I was thinking, though I was leaning towards orange for Arcane after that one R&C eladrin wizard picture. After PHB2 comes out, what do you think about Psi = violet, Primal = green, Shadow = dark gray?

That's what I was thinking of for the roles as well. I don't know if I want to put classes down specifically, however; Paths have been said to appeal to multiple classes, and you can take Training feats to count as that class, so I wouldn't want someone to see a class name that looks interesting and then think "Oh, it's only for clerics; I'll pass" and miss out on something fun.

Okay, everything is color-coded and sorted by role.
