A few issues... 1) Your Leader appears to have no healing mechanic class feature. 2) Your Thirst For Knowledge features seem to imply that your Archivist needs to have his Prayerbook in hand in order to cast spells at all. That kind of item dependency is not a good idea; you're turning it into a major restriction instead of a class benefit like what the Wizard has with his Spellbook. 3) Prayerbook is an implement? Why not just use the Tomes? 4) Speaking of implements, why no Holy Symbols? Also, didn't Archivist just get renamed as Invoker?
Why, yes, as a matter of fact I am the Unfailing Arbiter of All That Is Good Design (Even More So Than The Actual Developers) TMSpeaking of things that were badly designed, please check out this thread for my Minotaur fix. What have the critics said, you ask? "If any of my players ask to play a Minotaur, I'm definitely offering this as an alternative to the official version." - EmpactWB "If I ever feel like playing a Minotaur I'll know where to look!" - Undrave "WoTC if you are reading this - please take this guy's advice." - Ferol_Debtor_of_Torm "Really full of win. A minotaur that is actually attractive for more than just melee classes." - Cpt_Micha Also, check out my recent GENASI variant! If you've ever wished that your Fire Genasi could actually set stuff on fire, your Water Genasi could actually swim, or your Wind Genasi could at least glide, then look no further. Finally, check out my OPTIONS FOR EVERYONE article, an effort to give unique support to the races that WotC keeps forgetting about. Includes new racial feature options for the Changeling, Deva, Githzerai, Gnoll, Gnome, Goliath, Half-Orc, Kalashtar, Minotaur, Shadar-Kai, Thri-Kreen, Warforged and more!

Also, didn't Archivist just get renamed as Invoker? 1) was working on it, re-download the file for an updated version with 1st level at will powers. 2) aye i went too much with the old 3.5 rules. Updated thirst for knowledge. 3) i don't own arcane power to look into, prayerbook is nostalgic to me. 4) Unlike a cleric, an archivist does not receive his power complement from whatever deity or cosmic force he worships. Rather, he must seek out and collect new prayers much as a wizard does, but from such esoteric sources as holy tablets, ancient steles, or other magical scriptures. An archivist uses divine magic from the passage and prayers he records in his prayerbook.
No, the flavor may coincide in some parts, but the overall theme and mechanic of the archivist doesn't resemble at all the 4th ed invoker.
A note on healing beacon. This class feature is completely different from your average leader. The archivist is not just another divine power source leader class. =)

I would consider having dark knowledge pertain to creature types based on trained skills. For example, you could use it on natural creatures if you have Nature trained, and immortals if you are trained in Religion.

More constructive criticism greatly appreciated. Link in first post.

The Archivist looks really cool so far, but I'm a bit weirded out by one thing: Every other Divine class starts with one or two Channel Divinity encounter powers, but the Archivist doesn't have any.

Unlike a cleric, an archivist does not receive his power complement from whatever deity or cosmic force he worships. Rather, he must seek out and collect new prayers much as a wizard does. While yes, the archivist uses the divine power source, however he does not have a direct connection with deities this reflects on the lack of channel divinity... i also like thinking outside of the box, just because all the divine classes up until now have channel divinity abilities doesn't mean they will all have in the future, i just started the trend first
btw archivist updated to lvl 5.

...Yeah, I guess that makes sense. His version of Channeling a Divinity is less channeling, and more using the leftover power of gods who have died out. Looking over the powers, this gets more and more obvious.
While I'd like if they still had a little of the old Archivist's 'Can learn any spell found on a scroll', it really turned the 3.5 Archivist into DnD's version of Powerthirst, and that kind of thing is why 4e is such an improvement over 3.5 (less absurdly overpowered casters).
I guess what I'm trying to say is, good job.
