Some... darker examples
That one nails the image of an Eladrin Swordmage for me.
Hellboy 2 did a nice Eladrin I think, perhaps a bit pale though.

i cant stop thinking that eladrins are blood elves and tieflings are draeneis. Specially tieflings appearance changed so much towards wow blood elves on 4th edition, i still invision tieflings as tony diterlizzi 2e style where horns were optional.
Eladrins for me are just sun elves.
and according to the FRPG they're sun elves and moon elves and star elves.
