Thanks to Scott and Steve and everyone else who helped pull this together. On a quick read-through, the revised GSL looks much better than the previous version, and I hope that we will see some great 3PP products thanks to this.

I have to admit, I was skeptical about the revised GSL ever being released, but Scott has proven me wrong. Kudos!

I have to agree this one is defintely better than v1. character prog's are still left out in the cold but I didn't really expect any movement from them on that, yet...

As I have often said, doing this for the community proves the intents WOTC had with the the GSL in the first place. I hope this finally silences those alarmists claiming the coming apocalypse.

In fact, I am almost bothered. Now everyone that was waiting or worried is going to jump on board and start producing. Competition is going to get more feirce.

Thanks guys.

Well, competition should help breed a better product overall. At least, in theory.

So I'm having a tough time coming to an understanding about what is and isn't allowed in the way of electronic apps. I think what made the 3.5 OGL crystal clear is that the SRD was fully populated, and not a list of references to other things. So I guess the question is, would something like d20srd.com be allowed under the new rules? or are you only allowed to reference powers by their names/levels?

I love you to....but I feel the need to see other gamers.

At the very least, we have one hell of a head start. But, like I said, I hope this finally silences the naysayers that only had knee-jerk reactions to the old GSL.
